Replaced my screen assembly and noticed the front camera no longer worked. Ordered a replacement along with a 1800 mah battery replacement and it solved the issue. I might’ve accidentally messed up the connections off the old one but I’m happy with the end result. Thank you!

Excellent explanation of how to change the front camera of the iPhone SE; However, I consider it a serious mistake not to have disconnected the battery before having released the flexes from the screen. This could have caused a circuit on the motherboard.

I ripped the (I guess) ground connector that is (strongly) glued to the metal plate at 4:30 even though I pulled very carefully. How important is that connection? How could I have removed it more safely?

Might be safer to disconnect the battery before removing the screen but at least your way prevents the chance of knocking off the gas gauge filter near the battery connector.

Instead of replacement can the lens be cleaned off by jus a simple wipe after takin it off through this instructions ?

Can you replace the front 1.2 Megapixel camera with larger Megapixel camera let 6 or double like it on the eyesight camera how come apple eyesight camera in larger megapixel and front size camera smaller?

Cant put anything in other then the original design. The front camera is for facetime by design and so lower resolution.
