I've done a lot of iPhone repair work and this is by far the most involved project. My charging port is struggling, but not completely broken, so I'm going to wait on this one. Nice job on the video!
@JohnnyK13 жыл бұрын
You don't have to remove the battery! It's enough to loose and lift the bottom part of the battery only. You'll need a plastic pick and a heat gun again. Besides, this video doesn't show how to remove the battery. Also, there is no need to remove the top face recognition piece. It can stay. So, lots of unnecessary dis-assembly. However, still, this is a very helpful tutorial. This guy has an excellent detailed video how to remove the screen/digitizer as well.

Pro tip: use an ice cube tray for parts. Don't go criss cross, go from one side to the other in a straight line. Place all the parts of each component in the pocket, don't separate covers, part and screws. Then just start from the back on reassembly. This will save you a lot of mental space.

Well I found a way to skip a lot of the work. Just remove the screen and everything on the bottom of the phone like he did until he started working on the battery. Then just lift the charging port with its cable and rip it at the side where it goes under the battery. Put the new one there and make the cable go over the battery. Fits a bit snug and the loudspeaker will go back in a little bit more difficult, but saves a lot of effort.
