iPhone X Screen Replacement | True Tone | iPhone Restoration

Hello,
This video shows how to replace the screen on an iphone x. When replacing the screen it is important to carefully remove the Face ID sensors as they can easily be damaged. Also the new screen does require programming in order for the True Tone feature to work.
Tools needed:
-iPhone pentalobe screw driver (for bottom 2 screws
-iPhone tri wing screw driver (for internal work)
-Thin metal pry tool
-Plastic pry tool
-Replacement screen and adhesive/gasket
-JCID programming tool

I have the same reader as you do, but it doesn't read the display data. Any other way to fix this. Display was replace because it was never on.

What type is the replacement screen? LCD or OLED? Which one would you recommend?

@@TheFixTech I actually look up the comparison of those screens, LCD came up to be the best overall. Actually, there are two types of LCD the LCD incell is the best all-around, and the second-best is the hard OLED.

Is True Tone really needed? Is True Tone only the yellow screen and that’s it?

It’s not needed, yes it just yellows the screen depending on the ambient lighting
