Putting out the screen and the digitalizer was not as easy for me, I ended breaking the lcd screen, if you are not familiar replacing screens I would recommend to ask for help with a professional

Thank you very much for your bronco videos. They've helped me immensely. Your brake video and this one just guided me through the dissembly and reassembly replacing my front brakes. (I've got the 3 screw auto hubs, but I'm not changing them) No room for mistakes or missing parts, as I'm in europe and costs and shipping time for this stuff is crazy. Thanks again!

Hey! So my screen works great, I’m more concerned about scratches on the plastic surface. Is that just part of the bottom housing, and not apart of the actual screen? If so am I able to replace just that?

Didn't even look at my DS, but remembered that the hinge was broken. The one I ordered arrived today, now I see that my original idea, to reolace the shell, was the right call. Well, off to order the cool shells I found! Thank you!

1:56 min in… Fuk that , I ain’t doing that 😂😂😂😂 I’ll leave my shell the way it is. Plays fine, works great. Mint screen, but few scuffs and damage on outer shell that’s worth leaving alone 😂😂😂😂😂😂 (Now if your color is peeling and looks terrible, then do it .)

Just finished repairing a beat up 3DS XL using this video. It all went smoothly apart from the hinge section. For anyone struggling with that - what I did was apply pressure to push it in and slowly, but carefully open and close the 3DS while doing so. Felt really dodge while doing it but I literally spent hours trying the way it was done in the video and I'm shocked at how easily this guy got it in. Mine absolutely did not go that well lmao. After opening and closing/wiggling it a bit while pushing the hinge barrel in, it clicked! Other than the hinge section, this was surprisingly doable and not nearly as scary and intimidating as people made it out to be. Thank you for this video. 2 years later and people are still learning from it. Cheers from South Africa.

Does jacking the engine up from under the oil pan not dent it in? Apparently not but it seems it like it might. I’m a little automotive illiterate.

Tip: Get some aluminum polymer capacitors for this job. They do not contain a liquid electrolyte that can leak out over time.

I echo the comments of many others who say your video is amazing! I only have one unanswered question: Is there a oil pan bolt cross-tightening sequence, or just work front to back alternating sides?
@TheFixTech3 күн бұрын
No specific sequence is needed. Just be sure to not over tighten the bolts

Does the speedometer/odometer work correctly? Any check engine lights or flashing o/d light? If so the speed sensor or psom could be a fault. Check fluid level and condition replace with Mobil 1 synthetic and new filter if needed. While pan is dropped remove the shift solenoid pack and test, replace if needed.
