Mick D good choice, I went with the 7 plus Piano Black I like calling it that cause it is literally like my moms piano... I’ve used mine 25 months now, battery is 87% from new and performance is still great, that being said I upgraded today to the XR Black as well, should come early next week... can’t decide if I’m going to sell my 7+ or keep it... Edit: Oh yea I do have the 128gb version and noticeable difference in speed over the 64gb version. UnboxTherapy said there’s a hidden speed difference in the larger storage versions across all phones 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just “upgraded” to an XR after my 7 plus and I. Can. See. Every. Pixel. It’s driving me crazy.. I’ll try to return it but idk WHY this is not being mentioned enough in comparison videos: the iphone XR display resolution is trash compared to the iphone 7 plus. And think about it, your screen is what you are going to SEE EVERYDAY of your life. The camera on the XR has a FILTER that makes photos look “better” because the camera on the 7 plus is dual and better. Before buying please compare! And not looking at photos but texting! Which is what you probably do the most.. you’ll get my point! No comparison

About to upgrade from 7 plus to XR. I like the fact that it’s a newer design, and can get it cheaper than the XS. I also really like the size, bigger than the XS but smaller than the 7 Plus. In my opinion the XR also has a cleaner look than the XS and XS Max with that single lens, and I don’t think I’ll have any regrets buying a XR

I'm upgrading from a 5s to a 7+ this week, i'll update on how i like it! :) UPDATE! I got it and it’s honestly a really good phone. I love the size, the quality, the coloration, it’s all really cool. The only problem I really had was restoring my old stuff from my 5s to my 7+. It took a couple of hours. Anyway I really do recommend this phone.

They should put the same Taptic Engine in the XR and have a iPhone mode where the screen is cut on the top and bottom and you have an on screen home button that you can actually press and get Taptic feedback from 3D Touch

Have been looking at Xr and Xs phones for a while. Xs looks great but very expensive. Xr looks and feels great but I really like my 7 plus. It seems to do everything I do at the moment. Have the 128 version and have been using it on vacations for couple of years now. I wish it had wireless charging but not a deal brreaker since I never used it anyway. May upgrade after iPhone 11 and all the others come out if prices on Xr or Xs drops. Do plan on keeping my 7 plus anyway.

As someone with an iPhone 11 Pro Max, the iPhone XR is not as good as the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone 11 is probably the only one a person should upgrade to from the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone 7 Plus was just a really good phone. It still competes with mid range phones in terms of performance and camera quality. When I owned one it could handle heavy video and photo editing

There is no point upgrading from iPhone 7 Plus to iPhone XR. The question is really for people like me who are upgrading from iPhone 5s. Then it becomes a dilemma. Should I upgrade to iPhone 7+ or iPhone XR. Which should I buy iPhone X r $1100 CAD Or iPhone 7 Plus $929. CAD Both 128 GB X is $170 more X is 2 upgrades up 8 plus and then X But not sure if it’s 2 upgrades cuz ‘plus’ ones are in a higher category So I think it’s only one upgrade up Usually the next version is $150 up. But in this case 7 Plus to XR is $150 up. They discontinued iPhone X (10) which should have been the intermediate. They said it was too expensive to produce and as an older model they couldn’t offer it for cheaper as they usually do X has -Better sound - louder * -Better battery lasting power talk time is four hours more * -Better Bluetooth reach 5.0 vs 4.2 * for drones or Bluetooth headset range etc -screen is bigger* but image size is minutely smaller ? -Chip is better, more powerful , faster but I don’t need that speed -Video is better -Will last longer being a later version -Dual SIM * -wireless charging : i don’t care about this. U still need to be close to the wired charger lol Not sure about the camera The zoom is better on 7 plus And 7+ has a dual camera 2x optical zoom ; XR doesn’t 7Plus has a higher digital zoom 5x vs 10x Has wide lense n telephoto lens X does have better video 7 plus has -3D Touch which gives better shortcuts and quicker options -Has Home button which X doesn’t -Is lighter and skinnnier -Better resolution but I don’t care So I pay more for less camera features But XR is an upgrade

You should go for the 8 plus. Has wireless/fast charging, A11 chip, and the same camera as the iphone X. idk how much it costs
