Dear REWA Technology, congratulations for your innovative repair techniques. At the minute 4:14 we can clearly see that the crystal is connected with 3 pins at the base of the dot projector. My questions from this: 1) What is the electrical function of the pins connected to the crystal? 2) After the repair and exchange of the flat cable the 3 pins of the crystal need to be re-soldered to the base of the dot projector as they were originally? All internet videos after the repair dot projector do not show re-soldering the 3 pins of the crystal. Nobody understands or explains the electrical function of the crystal. Thanks.

most likely related to the mosfet they ground off. from my findingeveryome does that amd this has to be the only reaso. maybe its some stupid physical security thing and the mosfet bypass disables that

As usual you do not show all steps. You need to glue and solder the lens assembly to the housing with UV glue and soldering iron. Very important steps you did not show :( ...

Could you use these tools with a full front camera module to hotswap? Basically just remove the whole front camera assembly, burn the data to the new assembly, and put the new assembly into the phone?

In my case, it's the dot projector not emitting a flashing red light when in Portait Mode and the background is not blurred. The flood sensor and Ambient Light Sensor are working normally I had exposed my XS MAX to an QR reader who emit red light for a dozen of seconds and one day after, FaceID stopped working like nothing. What do you think ?

why do you short out the mosfet on the projector?

My guess is the mosfet is usually turned on by some logic to activate the face-id sensor. This bridge bypasses that logic. Makes me wonder if this hack will affect battery usage

Disconnecting Rear camera (wide and tele): -Face ID works -Front camera works -Flashlight doesn't work 3:35 3. Disconnecting front camera only: -Everyithing as if connected properly 5:10 4. @@Georgik1 Да, в предыдущем решении этой проблемы она прокладкой под основную епромку сделана (как в компасе 5s) а тут - на апендиксе возле коннектора нового шлейфа.

@@svchost86 порядок такой: снял родной дот -считал дамп - записал в новый шлейф (на шлейфе новая еепром сбоку) На старом убрал мосфет и коротнул его ( на катод дот проэкторе а вторая часть мосфета уходит на родной еепром на нижний ряд средний пятак) После все ок ставь и радуйся Все остальное Вода. Читается судя по всему чем угодно Ipbox подойдёт. Распиновка простая . SCl SDA Мне не понятно только одно, если родной читается и дамп не чем не стирают и не модифицирует то почему нельзя тупо залить этот дам в другой дот. У меня только один вариант защита от записи (только чтение) либо весь ремонт сводится к перемычки мосфета. А остальное просто развод.
