Had a situation when my friend's laptop crashed with an Inaccessible boot device error, went into the Automatic Repair reboot loop, without being able to load into safe mode, and the password was forgotten so the command prompt couldn't be opened to run a disk check without password (and the link to reset it, as shown on 0:46, does not do anything. Something something admin rights). Tried the fourth method, but it still sent us to password. AND there was no boot USB/CD available (or a second machine to create one) because I was essentially trying to fix it over the phone. Ran out of options to do without having an install media, including changing boot options to disable secure boot (no IDE-AHCI options, though), trying to use basic repair functions, repairing from save point sent it back to the loop, and it wasn't a problem of updates but most likely a power supply issue. And this guide is useful for when there's a boot USB available, thanks for that! But I want to know whether there is a way to bypass this, of any difficulty.

Hello ipM, I accidentally activated Windows 10 diagnostic mode via msconfig and restarted it. Now I'm at a dead end and can't get any further. Hi disabling the admin password is the problem. If you don't have a reset button, do the following: Turn on your PC, after the first appearance of the Windows logo, immediately press the "Turn on" button and hold it until the computer turns off. Then turn on the computer again and repeat these steps. Do this 2-3 times, and a white font will appear under the Windows logo - this is the system recovery program being loaded.
