Only use iCloud free 5gb. Don’t pay to get more space on iCloud. Use google photos app to backup pictures/videos and you can backup your entire device using iTunes on your laptop or finder on a Mac

What is the best way to fully shut down an iPod Touch 7th generation to consume minimal power? Some earlier iPods have a diagnostic menu where you can put the iPod into a "deep sleep." I haven't found a way to do it on this model.

Just got one. Tried to do the Quick setup where you have to line up the blue circle to the camera. It seems it’s not the Qickest way. It does connect but that’s all it does. Will do mannually.

I entered my email by accident on the setting up my account page before I relaized I had to set up an Apple ID first. I went back to setting up an apple ID and now it won't use my email as an apple id because it says it is not available as it already has been used.

Can someone poss answer this question for me? I just got this iPod but I only have iTunes on old laptop from about 10 yea ago and it has no internet. All I want to do is plug my iPod into laptop, open iTunes, transfer my MP3 from laptop, into iTunes and then transfer the MP3 to my iPod. Is this possible with old iTunes and without internet? I hope so, otherwise, I have to borrow a laptop and that’s not ideal.

Hello please can you help me, I am so confused and I can’t find a straight answer anywhere: I need to buy an iPod for my dad who really just wants an iPod nano, but the Nano is now discontinued (really dumb) 😣😣 So the only option now is an iPod Touch which I understand is more like an iphone and has a lot more features obviously, which he doesn’t even want, because he just wants it for music and audiobook purposes . He does not use iCloud , and is not even signed into his Apple ID on his iPhone , because he doesn’t download apps, etc. My question: if I buy him an iPod Touch , will he be able to use it without entering an Apple ID at all? *Essentially, if I buy him an iPod touch can he still use it like his old Nano where I enter NO Apple ID for him during setup, but I can still manually connect it with a cable to my iTunes and manually “drag” and transfer songs and audiobooks to it* and he can listen to these items *without* being signed into an AppleID account?? I’m so confused if the iPod touch will still let you “import” songs to it manually or not , just like how the Nano worked (no Apple ID was obviously required for the Nano) Thanks in advance and I hope this makes sense what I’m asking. I’m not techy at all and I find Apple very confusing !

I don't know if you've found the answer already, but yes you can setup an iPod touch without an Apple ID. It will try to convince you to sign up or sign in, but you don't have to. And yes, you can manage music/audio files on iTunes on your computer to transfer them to the iPod.
