i have an iphone XR but with only 64 gb. it may seem like a lot to other people but i have tons of apps, pictures , music, tv shows, movies, podcasts..etc. i’m looking into an ipod touch 7th gen 256 gb as a secondhand media player:)

I’m sure if Apple makes a another new iPod touch they may add a low power mode or if u update software on the 7th generation for this iPod touch I usually do the software update I got 256 GB because I have a ton of music I’m so glad I got this new iPod touch my last iPod touch which was the 6th generation it didn’t show the battery percentage which was annoying to me

When you text someone from the iPod threw iMessage and they have a iPhone wat does the contact show bc ofc a iPod doesn't have a number so wat shows the contact as if someone could test that and make a video on it I would appreciate it alot

Oliver Car Ah man, that was one of the Apple devices that fell to it’s death due to the iOS 9 update. I imagine you probably have to plug it in to charge various times throughout the day.

Unfortunately, iPod is discontinued. I bought I would like to say the last Ipod Touch Generation 7 that has 256GB in space gray on the internet. iPhone SE is the closest thing to an Ipod now. It costs more money, but it has a better processor & camera.

You can buy an iPod at your local Staples, BestBuy, Walmart (btw I don't suggest Walmart but you can go there) and that's pretty much it.

What are you talking about? I've always been able to see the battery level in the status bar ever sense I started using apple devices about ten years ago. Maybe it's because I use voiceover, the screen reader that allows the blind to use apple products, but at least for me, I've always been able to know my device battery level even when I turn the percentage off.

You're at an advantage then lol. iPods have never shown the battery percentage until now. My 6th gen doesn't do it, so I have to use a battery widget and see the percentage that way.

They should make the next iPod have an iPodOS similar to the iPod nano. I don’t want to be forced to access my download music and movies from streaming apps. I don’t ever want to be forced to sign into an Apple ID. This should be a mainly offline device. We don’t need a front facing camera or the top bezel, again, similar to the iPod nano’s design.
