Ipswich Town and Christchurch Mansion park walk
I made this video towards the end of the UK lockdown ‘lite’, on Monday 15th June 2020, mid afternoon.
I’m not overly familiar with Ipswich so I just wandered around the beautiful Christchurch Mansion park and town centre, I hope you enjoy my wander around.

I ‘earthed walked’ the entire video (walked barefoot) for no other reason than I like it that way.
It was perfect day an earthing walk, the streets of the town are perfectly suited for a barefoot walk, although the park did had challenging path surfaces which was no so easy to walk barefoot on. The locals appear open-minded to walking barefoot so Ipswich seems like a fairly laid-back kind of place.
I do recommend that you listen with headphones to enjoy the full binaural audio experience.

The video was made using a DJI Osmo Pocket camera, with DJI ND32 lens filter. I also used a DIY binaural mic made from two modified DJI FM-15 FlexMics, detailed in a previous video.
I use Adobe Premiere Pro with only minor processing.

Great slow camera work of a place I remember well. My family ran the beer tent when the park had the Co-op fete every year and my uncle was landlord of the Cricketers pub in the town. I spent MANY happy hours in the park.

I lived in Ipswich for the first 21 years of my life. I love Christchurch Park. So many happy memories. I found the walk through the town frustrating because I so wanted to go down the many smaller lanes that exist. Still once we're out of this current situation I will go back to my historic and wonderful home town and have a great time revisiting my old haunts.

Great video, nice to hear someone elses opinion of the town it gets slagged off by a lot of the locals, I don't know why. Everywhere has good it's good and bad. Shame you didn't make it to the waterfront, it's lovely along there

There is a free music day there every year with 6 stages around the park. One is the Ed Sheeran stage as he played there before he became famous. Usually attracts 40-50,000 people.
