Hi your content is really helpful! Do you know if a transmission for an 2007+ Lexus GS350 AWD (A760H) can be used in a 2010+ Lexus GX (A760F), if the bell housing, tail end, torque converter, valve body, etc. is swapped over from a GX? Any info is appreciated because it appears that the internals of both transmissions are the same.

You say the common failure/wear is the pressure accumulater valve....any reported symptoms specific to this truck?

Symptoms vary depending on where it’s worn- high pressure, low pressure, soft shifts, hard shifts and code p2714 are the common complaints

@@iptperformancetrans I only wish it would throw codes... would make it a lot easier. It started out with a "pop" sound when going down hill coasting. If I touched the brakes at all it would initiate a downshift and that downshift would pop Usually 4->3 or possibly 5->4. Now I hear it during a lot of downshifting. Never on upshit... I just know it's something i need to address before it gets to the point of breaking something.

You can drive a 3/8” cup plug into the hole or use and extra sensor with the wires cut to plug it off

Hiya, my 07 IS250 had a P2759 - Transmissions solenoid SLU, electronic circuit code since November. In the past 3 months I have already performed 3 x AT fluid and filter change, and I have changed the SLU solenoid and the electric wire in the transmission’s valve body yesterday. The same code has returned after driving for 1 mile. Do you think I can have the problem rectified by replacing the calve body? Or I m likely going to have the whole transmissions replaced? Cheers!

1st off- changing fluid does not fix transmission problems That said, you can try to do something with the valve body but your transmission may be damaged and failing

Usually P2714 is a sign of an unhealthy transmission, it’s not normally a solenoid problem as it is described. You may have a slipping transmission
