Thank you SO MUCH for these very clear and helpful videos about stippling! I'm starting a trapunto design which needs the little squares in the background. Could not do this without your help! PS I am finishing up the design which I created on IQ with a black line flower. I'm using the brick-like background and will stitch it on a thin cotton fabric with a thick batting. It looks so beautiful! I wouldn't have been able to do this and so quickly without your video!!!

How do you stipple an entire quilt? I don’t know how to hoop the quilt so I can stipple the entire quilt.

Minno S To do a large quilt you need to re-hoop lots of times. That leads to issues with alignment which is difficult to do. There is a way to do it, I saw it done by Amelie Scott. On her website she sells a book with the CD of designs that she made and added connection points. In the book she will teach you how to line up one design to the next one. I highly recommend it. What I have doe here and you can do it with any quilt that has blocks is just stipple in the blocks only. I hope it helps and if you have any questions please let me know.

Sew Young Designs I never thought to stipple inside each block. You’re brilliant! Thanks so much!
