This is a very old video. Recorded in 2009 while testing iRacing with the projector. Old tire model, old phisycs, few experience with iRacing. Since then I drove iRacing a lot, and my laptimes became more competitive :)

@mrvolkarpoot Tyre squeal is added to the game as an extra sense in game to let u know when you are at or near the limit of your tyres grip as there is no seat of the pants feel in sim racing (unless u get a motion sim) in which case it is a volume control that can be turned down :)

@FenderUsa Day and night. But you need a rig that can pull off 120fps steadily to match the projector's 120hz.

hi, i'd like to ask you a question about projectors. how did you set the projector in the video you were playing iRacing??? i notice no shadows on the screen, how you did it ?? i like racing simulation too and i'm going to buy a benq w700(think it's a good choice ?) for watching movies and playing rFactor.
@jonoroos14 жыл бұрын
That is rediculous. I am doing some research on the projector as I am planning on getting one and I have now seen your stupid clip. I DONT like car games and now I have to buy one!!! My wife thinks Im being a nerd but your setup looks AWESOME!! Must be even more spectacular in 3D! Dammit I'm amped!

what's the screen size? it's rear-projection, or extreme lensShift? i mean, it may be just the perspective, but it looks that you are 1 metre or less from the screen, without any shadows in it LOL. I have an Optoma HD600X, 720 120hz like yours, and i'm buyin a Fanatec CSR... i would love to "copy" your setup!

How many inches does your screen end up? Like 100"? My dad can't handle VR and we have been racing small screens for years in league racing. Curious if I should get a 100" hdtv for him or a projector?
