The steering error message isn't just a moza thing. I use a logitech g923 and i also get it when setting up my wheel. My theory is that iracing will take any "native" operating angle and kinda crunch it down to the car you're using. it took me wayyyy too long to realize I need to set the operating angle to 900 and the game will naturally shape it to 360 (I race f4 and other open wheelers)

For anyone with a cheap pedal set... set the break max point to around 70 percent. Then go on track get full speed and see if the car locks up.. then reduce slightly until the car stops on a penny without locking up. (You'll have to change it slightly for every car... eg; mazda is about 68 percent... ferrari is about 72 percent etc... that way when you panic and slap your foot on the ground you will still have control. 😮 your welcome..

I played acc and iracing. Acc gives me way more feedback. I can feel the brakes, the speed and get a sense of the car. In iracing, i cant even feel if im understeering or not.

Calibrate your brake in a way that you can press 80-90 %

I'd really love to see an iRacing guide specifically for GT7 players. Does iRacing have GT7 style time trials where I can watch ghosts of the worlds best players? What do I need to change about my driving style from GT7 etc.

A week ago I went from GT7 to iRacing and I absolutely recommend it, didn't think of GT7 since. I didn't try time trials yet but about the driving style, it's very natural and you will definitely use what you learned in GT7 and just slightly modify it (use more track even the green areas behind the curbs, use neutral steer to your benefit, trail braking matters more in iRacing...) Its penalty system is much better, physics is much better, car behaviour is much better, matchmaking... I could go like this for so long. Try Suellio Almeida KZbin channel, you'll learn everything there🙂

Having troubl with a specific cars auto clutch. It will not shift to 5th gear the street stock car. Doesn’t do it with any other car. Any suggestions

I disagree with the brake setup. You don’t ever really WANT to be at 100 percent brake, that creates lock ups. You actually DO want to press your pedal as hard as you can because in race it will make it WAY harder to get to 100 percent brake.

I dont get why they dont fix the UI of iracing. It really is clunky and garbage. Also i dont get why there isnt a whisper function. In 2023

The warning you get when you do your steering angle is because you aren't using the stock wheel angle degrees or whatever. For eg. I get this message because I drive most cars at 480 degrees through my software. So iracing gives me this message regularly. I use 480 on just about every car unless the car has a round wheel - Then I change it to 900
