I visited the lake in May 2018, and the water level was at it lowest in decades. Then came the heaviest rain in the region after 50 years or so! So, I certainly hope the lake has revived. The Persian government purposefully finishes the Urumia lake because the beautiful lake is in the Turkish part of Iran.
