Iran Warns New Nuclear Doctrine Over Israel "Threat", Will Khamenei Sign Off On "Forbidden" Weapons?

A senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander said Iran might reconsider its "nuclear doctrine" amid the "threat" of an Israeli attack on nuclear facilities. Iran has long argued that its nuclear programme is strictly for “peaceful purposes.” Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has the last say on Tehran's nuclear programme, which the West suspects has military purposes. Khamenei has previously issued a fatwa (religous decree) on nuclear weapons being "haram" or "forbidden".
