I was raised in a Muslim household. We were pretty laid back muslims in a sense. Even then I felt all of it wasn’t right. As the eldest daughter I fought ALOT for my rights and my younger sisters. Islam only allows marriage after puberty and sexual maturity, after the girl has attained menarche... Logic of marrying at young age: when instincts develop, and a natural affection towards other sex starts in man, he or she may fall prey to pre marital sexual encounters which may lead to pregnancy. In order to avoid teen and pre marital harmful relationships, islam advised to marry when the girl reaches puberty and starts menstruation, and same for boy, reaches puberty, and both are mentally and physically mature to handle marriage. Islam prohibited any marriage before puberty, in a way it abolished child marriage from Arab society...Now the current world advocates marriages after education, some will say after career, till then the option of illegal premarital relationship had to be kept open, and naturally had to allow abortions, in which lot of teens under 18 have to undergo abortions. In order to allow one wrong, you will have to open permission for multiple other wrongs... Islam recognises this problem and shuts it at the root...marry when you feel like going into a sexual relationship...Thats it, simple... Modern people may argue that its harmful if the girl gets pregnant at 16 or 15, how can a woman go for child birth at so young age, what about her education and career... Why did the nature give a woman power to give birth when it was not supposed to at this age? According to your logic, at 16 a woman can naturally become pregnant but should not, then why did nature not realise it over last 10,000 of years and evolve all women to have menses at 18 or 21... Is nature a fool to give this human potential to give birth without making the body ready to do so? Other than humans, all other animals and creatures follow instinct...Before anything sort of education came, basic human instincts was instilled in a man and woman and they followed it since ages and humanity has survived and you came to this world with a new knowledge that women should not beget at below 18... secondly, islam has no problems with a society who manages to pull through beyong 18 of age of marriage with zero problems and focus on education and career...problems which are problems to Islam, premarital sex (impure relationships) and teen pregnancies and abortions

If you say the times were different so it was okay then you prove Allah doesn't know everything and modern people know more than Allah for it's not possible for a 9 year old girl to be mature physically or mentally for a sex or marriage. We know this today. But girls were not somehow a different species back then to be mature to have such relationships at 9. So how come Allah permitted his prophet to mount and consummate with a 9 year old girl? Does Allah not know this is wrong morally and physically and mentally harmful to the girl? If you say well other people did it too, it still doesn't mean it was right. The major difference is your prophet claims God allowed it but others didn't make that claim for their perversion. Ayesha was also prepubescent because she was still playing with dolls at age 9 when her marriage was consummated. Dolls were not permitted except for prepubescent girls. When a girl reached puberty she is no longer permitted to play with dolls or own them. But Ayesha was still playing with dolls after the prophet mounted her. How does a person remain in such a religion? How do you not question why Allah would allow a little girl to be mounted by a man old enough to be her grandfather? This is why a Muslim country can consider this law because the prophet did it and what he did is the example for all Muslims for all time. So they will argue it can apply for today as well. 🤢
