Ireland 6: Carlingford's Historic Viking Village: Downpatrick Cathedral St. Patricks Grave: LNAB

For our full day in Carlingford we headed up to Downpatrick- the location of St. Patrick's Grave and the Down Cathedral. Then we headed back to Carlingford to explore the Viking village, search for REAL coffee and had our group banquet at the Four Seasons.

Great Video! I am born and bred in Downpatrick. I hope you enjoyed it! Did you get to see Inch Abbey, Struell Wells, Quoile River etc? Also the Catholic Church in the town is stunning. Has beautiful mosaics telling the life story of St. Patrick. Saul out the road is where St. Patrick built his first Church in Ireland and the Mountain there has the tallest statue in the World of St. Patrick 😁
