I loved Madame Epstein and her classes. She was one of my favorite instructors. I still think of our conversations she had us memorize, the Buche de Noel recipe she shared with us and the words of the French national anthem. Some of my best middle school memories. ❤

Who could have predicted that American and Israelis hostages would be held in Gaza by people who are bent on the destruction of Israel and Jews. The US President has his hands up in surrender while courting votes from Arabic Americans and a recent former President is standing firm with Israel. Does anyone have a memory?

Baruch HaShem, Miss. Epstein you are a survivalist, incredibly gracious and brave…may your testimony live on forever, and may we never forget the horrors our people endured. 💜✡️🇮🇱 thank you for sharing your story.

I listened to many survivor stories and what I notice is they all look amazing and not at all a crumpled up old person

Why doesn’t this have more comments. That’s why I’m adding one.

I wish the interviewer had waited until the end to interrupt her train of thought

These young people have taken the time to seek out Holocaust survivors who sometimes otherwise would not have had their words broadcast for us to hear. They did the best they could and it is to the benefit of mankind that they did so.

I don’t like the interviewers. They don’t seem very professional and interrupting is really annoying and disrespectful to me!!! God bless this fantastic woman!

THE TRANSCRIPT IS RIDICULOUS: DELETE IT OR FIX IT What a lovely, strong lady at 95. She died in 2022 at the age of 98. Bless her and her family.

What's sad is that people are so antisemitic you need someone to call out the exact date of the interview

Utterly ridiculous! Not only did they go through the war, their properties were outright stolen from them. No restitution. Poland and whatever other countries did this should be punished and ashamed. ☹️

She did fine on her own. But this interviewer had odd ideas about expanding ideas she already covered well. For a while, he let her tell her story, then he returned to take her in a different direction. He needed to back off. It is her testimony, not his. It took patience for me to try to ignore him and listen to her. I was able to do it, after taking two breaks. Interviewers should not take over! This man is not right for this job!

Her voice seems raspy and hard to clear- I wonder if she has some sort of throat problem?
