No one can really appreciate the work that takes so much research. Using the correct types of glue for example. I have done restoration for over 50 yrs. What I did was child’s play compared to the work of Irene. She is truly a master.

My mother threw away my grandmothers childhood doll after she died because the arms and legs came off, (they were attached by string) it was a beautiful doll from around the 1910’s that had a very sad story about why it was given to her. I wish you were there to save it!

What was the sad story as to why it was given to her if you don't mind me asking?
@cowgirl90142 ай бұрын
@@bonniemoon6790 her older brother had gall bladder surgery back in the day when it was a major operation- he climbed up on a roof attempting to put out a fire but he fell and reopened the surgical wound. He died soon afterwards. One of his dying wishes was to find the nicest doll that the family could afford and give it to my grandmother, so that is how she got her doll. Once she dropped the doll in the street and she ran in front of a car to get it and she was hit and had a broken leg. She nearly died for that doll

My mother, she is gone now, she collected and also made dolls. NOTHING like this. This was wonderful watching. She made porcelain dolls. I remember she made 2 at one time. One was of me and the other my sister. And she matched our hair styles and our eye color and these dresses that she had made us for some occasion. I remember mine was this blue velvet. The face of the doll, looked just like me! It was incredible, the work she did. I wish I knew where my doll was. I would love to see it again, all I have are my memories of it. You did a wonderful job restoring this beautiful doll. I just love your work. Thank you for your content.

But what helps me about your videos is seen how much you can get them in a better condition, how you can fix them. It helps me a lot. Two were wearing these gorgeous purple outfits (purple is my favorite color), and one of them was an angel with my name. The other two were blondes, one in a purple dress and the other in a Christmas outfit. Again, they were gorgeous.
