Hey there, just wondering about how you setup your Amplitube for that tone, would really like to try your preset if i can find it anywhere. Is it in the Tone Central in the program?

I don't have any amp, so can I use my laptop or phone as a speaker with this device?

Hi, i have the iRig model that you didn't use. How do I use it to play guitar in my laptop?

Which one did I not use?

Hello, at 1:59 , what is the iPad version and connector you are using? Is it a new ipad with usb C or and older one with lightning? I am struggling to get my iPad to recognize the iRig as an audio device (or recognize it at all). Tried many things, but you make it look like no problem.

New type. I had problems but I opened amplitube up first then plugged in device. When I had it plugged in first before opening Amplitube it didn’t recognise device

@@Rocklicks72 Thanks for the reply… I am still so stuck… no matter my configuration or order I open/connect… the iRig lights up, but is not recognized by any of my iPads or iPhone as an “audio” device… meaning it doesn’t appear like headphones are attached on the volume slider… no recognition at all. And amplitude continues to only offer “Internal Mic”… hmmmm. Again, thanks for replying. I do have a question into IK about it… If I get it working I will update here for others…

What model IPad and IOS are you using? Are the cable and the USB adapter original from apple?

@@arekay4929 Good Question, here are the details of what I have tried so far: For all tests with iPads and iPhone I am using: The official Apple Brand Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter Model # MK0W2AM/A, Firmware 1.0.5 (Latest) iPad 12w Charging block And to keep full story in one place, my interface device is the "iRig USB" Test 1: Device: iPad mini 4 (Model MK9J2LL/A) Software version: 15.8.1 (as up to date as it can be) Port Type: USB-C to USB-A to Lightning (using CCK Adapter) Result: iRig turns on "Blue Light", No recognition by iPad, Volume control does not appear as headphones, does not say "iRig" built in speakers and microphone still active. AmpliTube Input still says "Built-in Microphone" Test 2: Device: iPad Pro (10.5-inch) (Model MQDY2LL/A) iPadOS version: 17.3.1 (as up to date as it can be) Port Type: USB-C to USB-A to Lightning (using CCK Adapter) Result: Same as iPad Mini Test 3: Device: MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2019) macOS: Monterey 12.6.5 Port Type: USB-C to USB-C Cable (Adapter not needed here) Result: iRig Device Recognized with no issue by MacBook itself and by AmpliTube 5 (So the iRig USB is functioning) Test 3: Device: Custom Built Windows PC OS: Windows 11 (Up to date) Port Type: USB-C to USB-A Cable (Adapter not needed here, of course) Result: iRig Device Recognized with no issue by PC itself and by AmpliTube 5 As an additional test for the adapter itself, I connected my Astro MixAmp Pro Gaming headset to each of the iPads using the adapter (the only way it would work, due to the need for power) and the Headset was immediately recognized as an audio device for both input and output. That is my full story. Any help or ideas would be amazing. Thanks!

Has anyone actually connected the irig USB to an older iPhone/ipad with the lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter? IK Multimedia states on their website and the box it comes in, that it’s compatible. The KZbin videos that I’ve watched all states it but they don’t show it or say they’ve tested it ( like this video) Mine just arrived but I can’t get it to work. It just lights up. I’m using an up to date IPad Air 3 with the original Apple adapter. Any suggestions?
@Rocklicks7211 ай бұрын
I thought mine didn’t work. I’d plugged it in then started up amplitube. When I started amplitube first then plugged in it worked
@arekay492911 ай бұрын
Yes, it worked. Thank you. I was worried that it was £70 down the drain and I would have to fork out more to get something to work. I wasn’t fussed with their app and I just wanted to use with GarageBand. But I downloaded amplitube, used it once and now it works on all the apps. So thanks again.
