AGREED. I enjoyed seeing Graham and Amanda's love and he is MUCH more worthy of her fragile heart than the guy she broke up with, but I honestly wish they would have just left Jack Black out of it entirely and just focused on Iris's friendship with Arthur. He helped her far more than Jack Black did, when it came to healing her broken heart and giving her wisdom and insight and the courage to respect herself as a woman. I thought their bond was adorable.

The Holiday is classified as A Christmas Classic. Been 15 years now since this film came out on cinema 2006.

I want to see the movie that centers on the friendship between Iris and Arthur without the rushed Jack Black romance. Iris grows to appreciate herself through Arthur's guidance, then meets a potential romantic partner towards the end of the movie.
