Fun fact about Tennessee, they’re known as the Volunteers because of their selfless service in multiple wars starting in 1812. Weird fun fact, my motorcycle broke down when riding through the state and other bikers who lived in Tennessee helped me get back home - starting with one guy who helped me push my bike to the local gas station who then called his buddy. His buddy, a big burly guy put my bike on his trailer and took me home where his wife had food waiting for me. He called my husband who came and got me. The hubby & wife put me up for the night till my hubby could get there the next day. First guy was Air Force. Burly guy was a Marine. His wife was Army. My husband was Navy. ROFL. Tennessee. 💜

Tennessee is the second of two states to have a chemical element named after it (Element 98 was discovered in 1950 at the University of California and named californium, Cf), after the secret city of Oak Ridge, built by the US Army during WWII to process fuel for the first A-bombs, then declassified after the war ended. Tennessine, number 117, symbol Tn, would probably be a halogen if enough of it existed at one time to do chemical experiments with it, hence the -ine suffix, like fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I), and Astatine (At).

Fun Facts about the state of Nevada: Oops !!!!….. Diane skipped it entirely on the video.... plus its the only state that became a state during the civil war, ….and also the only state where prostitution is legal (not the whole state, but the state government allows the smaller counties to decide for themselves)….the largest Basque population outside of the Basque Country of Spain/France is in Nevada...….it is home to Area 51, where the stranded extra-terrestrial aliens are living out their lives peacefully in the desert. ALSO there is an Irish consulate in Reno.

LOL and many UFO-enthusiasts do the same...whereas in Roswell, NM they just turn every store into a Disney World-style gift shop with alien mementos.

Rhode Island does still have polo, Diane. They play in a town about 20 minutes north of my house. That's because they roll up the road at 6 o'clock there, and they don't want to go anywhere else, so it provides them with entertainment on a Saturday night.
