If Éadaoin & Seán really like the square bottle, they’d absolutely love the square shot glasses. The JD tour in Lynchburg is pretty amazing. At this point, after the recent horrifically fascist legislative actions in Tennessee, I will actively discourage anyone and everyone from buying ANYTHING produced in that state. When they can leave completely harmless folks alone, and stop criminalizing dressing a certain way, then I will reconsider. Notably, EVERY SINGLE MAJOR CRIMINAL ARREST since this anti-drag pogrom began has a been a STRAIGHT PERSON, usually male - youth pastors and things like that!!! People who are apparently very intentionally preying on young people for their perversions. It aint people dressing up and wearing makeup. I think we can all see where the true threat lies.

@@tehfiredog Bourbon is a place. Bourbon, County, Kentucky, and only whisky that is made there can be called Bourbon. They don't have much of a sense of humor about it either.. asking to buy just the bottle but rent the bourbon doesn't even get a smile.

Yeah, our hs senior trip was Gatlinburg, but they put us in Pigeon Forge, for that reason. BEFORE Dollywood existed

Dry county, yes...but you can buy it at the distillery.

@Tammy when I went on the tour, they walked you over the Creek Bridge to the tasting room, and you could buy it there. But when you cross the creek bridge, you entered another county.

@@Tammy-bj3yx I can't imagine why they would do tours otherwise

Back in the day when stationed in England I had a thriving blackmarket business selling Jack Daniels and Marlboro cigarettes. They loved them both.

Ciara over her looking like chic pirate trying *new* Jack Daniels whiskey...😂

Lolsy, we love you. Never change. If everyone had the same tolerance for whiskey, these shoots would be less than half the fun to watch.

I love where they said, "I'd love to tour the distillery." Jack Daniels is in a "dry" county. No alcohol can be served or sold.

Learn something new every day! I had no clue that the US has dry counties! I thought that all went away after Prohibition. Edited to add: I did see where they can sell you bottles of it tho.

It can be sold in their gift shop. It’s the only wet part of the county. And you can get tastings as part of the tour.
@Tammy-bj3yx Жыл бұрын
They give samples on the tasting tour and you CAN buy at the distillery.

I grew up super close the distillery and went there often growing up and you’re RIGHT! It’s a ton of fun to visit! The town is adorable too and Jack Daniel’s international BBQ invitational each year that is awesome!
