The Irish Spring Angling Show is held at Ardaire Springs in county Kilkenny in Ireland. It is the brainchild of Ned Maher who lays on in my humble opinion one of the friendliest and welcoming events out there.
The emphasis is completely on encouraging youth into angling. Not only that but there is literally something for everyone at this show. This video will give you a small taste of the time and effort that has gone into standing this show up.
These shows need to be supported they are an essential part of making angling great again. I would implore you to make time to come along next year and give the show a go.

Well done Lindsay …you’re a great Ambassador for fly fishing …let’s all try and take a young person out for a days fishing with us this year and help them experience the outdoors, wildlife, birdsong, a clear mind etc …with of course a small picnic and drink sitting in a beautiful place

Why would you put gink on an f fly. Always been a no no on cdc. Wild mallard cdc dosnt need anything and dyed maybe cdc oil. Sad to hear that synthetics march on . Yes they have a place but for me fly tying will always be 95% fur and feather.

I would never put gunk on a dry fly. I agree to a point about synthetic materials. They have their uses but natural materials rule as far as I am concerned.
