Healthcare in Canada is joke. I guess it's wonderful if you're a pill popping junkie. The rest of us pay through the nose in taxes and can't get the services we need when we actually need them. Most people dont have a family doctor and if you donits impossible to get in. My husband, myself and our 4 boys are extremely healthy people- we eat real food, exercise, dont drink or smoke etc. We rarely get sick and dont take any perceptions, but when something does come up you have very little means to access care. My doctor's office just doesn't answer the phone or return your calls. Our healthcare system used to be something to brag about but those days are long gone.

Having free trade with the US is not ripping the US off. It's beneficial for both countries, just makes for a bigger market for labour and goods. Free trade makes sense when the labour pool and regulations are similar, which they generally are - Canada doesn't allow companies to use slave labour and dump toxic waste in our rivers to produce things for lower prices the way some 3rd world countries do. However, Trudeau needs to get it together with who gets let into the country, and cracking down on drugs.

@mikhail651811 сағат бұрын
Yes, we know how they work. If there is no financial sense to import tariffed merchandise, it won’t be imported….meaning that it won’t be bought from canadian suppliers….meaning that your revenue will fall…you see how that works?
@Theclashblog10 сағат бұрын
@@mikhail6518 I know perfectly well how it works, doesn't seem like he does. Construction costs will soar, Canada provides 49% of the timber imported into the US ~ more than $15B per year. Canada and Mexico also represent over 40% of the food imports. Inflation is project to reach 7-10% due to this within 18 months.
@Lochness1910 сағат бұрын
Yeah, there's a lot of bits and pieces of the auto-industry supply chain going back and forth between the Rust Belt and Ontario for example. 25% tariffs aren't going to be good for Canada, but they also aren't going to be good for Michigan and Ohio. Canada also exports a lot of oil to the US. And electricity from Quebec that's enough for about 3-4 million people.
