Great Idea, i just picked one up, wasn't shopping for him, went to target for something else and it caught my attention, did you name him? If I keep mine, I will, maybe robby, or thats too easy:), We have a house help, but she has kept to the stay at home, still paying her, but my wife and I have had to change hats a bit, as most America, hope your well and hope this virus has brought you closer as a family and God. We need a revival or its not over, just begun Regards, I am Cross.

Thank you for the helpful review! I picked up a brand new 240 off of FB Market today because they were not available on Amazon. It was $80 NIB. Based on reviews, I chose this model for just getting the job done. My husband and I giggled at the small size, brought it home and it started to prove itself right for the job! Just ordered reusable pads and looking for a backup battery at the moment.

The instructions say start it in the left corner of a room so probably why it didn’t clean half of the room on that run. Good video cant wait to see the others reviewed 👍

Having both the m6 and 240. M6 runs on the main floor via scheduling, affordable 240 does the bathrooms on the second floor where hallways and bedrooms are carpeted. Reusable pads work awesome. 240 is very small and tight, does a better deep clean scubing then M6. M6 is a better whole house option. 240 can do a few small rooms (our whole 2 bedroom suite) and then returns perfectly back to the start location completely avoiding all newly learned obstacles,.
@jjayguy233 жыл бұрын
I had the M6 and hated it! Simple is better!!!! M6 has threshold issues, and reliability issues. I've had the 240 for almost a year, and it's reliable and effective! I use it about every 2 weeks just to mop. It's an awesome helper, and Amazon always seems to have used 240s for major discounts!

The only issue is that it has huuge problems with connectivity. Out of all the phones I tried (Galaxy Note 9, S7 Edge, IPhone 6 and IPhone 8) IPhone 8 was the only one it worked with. They are using some specific version of the Bluetooth protocol which has issues with most of the phones :-/.

Awsome! Quick question, how did you do the effect on minute 03:23? does it has a name? or maybe just with the program and feature? I think I need to do the same to prove and claim the guarantee of my Jet 240. Thank you for your assistance.

I really like the concept. Simple, relatively low cost - just put it on a floor and let it mop. Ideal for bathrooms & kitchens. My biggest concern is 150sq feet isn’t a particularly big area, only one medium sized room. I suppose one solution might be to use the virtual “don’t clean stuff behind my starting line” feature to clean a bigger open plan area in two goes. Set an imaginary dividing line down the middle of the area then do two runs with it starting on the dividing line but pointing different ways each time to do the two halves. Even so I’d quite like to see a slightly bigger brother that shared the simplicity but had slightly bigger pad/tank/battery to maybe be able to do 300sq feet in one go.

I have problems with it on some of my glossy tiled floors which are pretty slippy when wet. It will go into a corner and then when manoeuvring to get out of the corner the wheels will slip and that throws off it's internal map. It then starts going more diagonally across the room and can miss parts it thinks it has done, especially if it happens again and the error builds up. Also if using the virtual wall when this happens it will start crossing over one side of the wall and not going near the other. I guess the M6 would be better for those areas as it could reorient itself with its cameras.
@coreysuffield4 жыл бұрын
I use this to dry sweep a large open area cafe floor, by placing it strategically in specific locations(it travels forward and to the right, also it will travel like 10 feet forward before turning around if it does not hit a wall) it is possible to chunk up large floors. this one actually has an advantage in its navigation being virtually unlimited with some manual help. after enough lines it will give up and go back to the start and do some finishing up and end near where it started, but a battery swap and new starting location in a different area it will just keep going and going Using two batteries and single charger it is possible to run it continuously in dry sweeping as it uses very little battery, after each job the previous battery would already be charged. Doing large mopping jobs will significantly drain the battery and it will take an hour or more to charge, but for our floors we found just doing daily dry sweeping using the reusable pads that we spray off and let dry is adequate Not mentioned in the video also has a targeted 4 foot by 4 foot mode(requires the app), which is great for mopping specific areas(like under a table) so it doesn't waste time wondering around

It does leave streaks when it dries on a new pad! I also would advise if your floors are not perfectly flat and slope it won’t clean as effective. Also I have owned this for two years and had gone through 2 For the price point it’s good but for a mop a traditional hand mop does a better job as it used to advise not to use any cleaning solution in the water tank

My only concern with these is do they not spray your skirting boards and furniture? Like when it gets to a wall surely it squirts liquid at the wall then crashes into it and turns around?
@alyssa58483 жыл бұрын
I have one of these and it will drive somewhere first, then back up and spray that spot to make sure it’s not spraying on anything but the floor. I’ve never had it spray the wall or furniture
@the1andonlydomdom2 жыл бұрын
Even if it does, it sprays a very limited amount of liquid. It’s designed not transition to carpet and shouldn’t spray directly into a wall with its algorithm.

Hey’ im knew to your channel but i recently bought my parents a Shark IQ self empty because of your review. I had a question about robot vaccums in general, we have husky puppy and she sometimes flicks water out of her dish or sometimes we might accidentally drop a ice cube from the fridge and if we dont realize, it melts on the floor, my question is do you think that these small puddles of water will be harmful to the vacuum? Obviously big puddles of water arent good for them but i was just wondering about small bits of water that might get over looked and sucked up

Cute, small robot. And it does a good job of staying off of carpet. Did you get a chance to test it in any oddly shaped spaces and if yes, how did it do? It would also be interesting to see how clean the floor really was after having the same damp pad pushed around. I suspect machines that put down clean solution and vacuum it up or a plain, old fashioned mop and bucked would leave a hygienically cleaner floor. FWIW (not much), I prefer the old music to the new "modern" generic kids music you're using now. Yes, I'm a boomer.

hi. i just bought one of these. really amazing little thing. please can you do a review on the replacement batteries including the third party batteries which I've seen have more than triple capacity in mha. I'm concerned if i should but them plus will or it damage the 240 somehow? please do a video on this as on eBay there are dozens of battery options for the 240. long time follower. big fan. would be awesome to get this information from your in a video. thanks either way. I'm glad i spent only 150gbp on this rather than 700gbp send get the same result! I've called mine fluffy! fuzz from London uk!
@adntigger710154 жыл бұрын
The issue with the bigger capacity batteries is their weight. It throws off the balance of the braava and weights it towards the back, which means it tilts up slightly enough to possibly affect the cleaning power of the mop (since it lifts it up off the floor in the front where the pad is). Since you want to get the best clean possible, it's unfortunately not worth it.
@fueledbyregret5 жыл бұрын
Great review. Have been wondering about this. We only have a kitchen and bathroom with hard floors, so probably not worth it - but I do love my gadgets. Have you seen Amazon have released their own AmazonBasics robot vacuum? Almost no reviews out there.

Hi! Love your videos! I'm thinking about buying a new vacuum. I currently have a Dyson V10 and it has good performance but I have pets and it doesn't really hold up well, the roller gets clogged, the bin isn't big enough etc. I'm thinking of either a Shark NV800 or the Miele CX1 Blizzard Cat & Dog, but I don't see any info you have on the Miele CX1 or any info or comparisons between these 2 at all on the internet.
