Love mine so far. I use distilled water along with the cleaning solution. For some reason over the past day and half, it’s been randomly making sounds while sitting on its base. No errors on the app either. Tank is full and has a clean pad. One gripe I have is that it will not go over my floor transitions from tile to wood. This may be due to it thinking there is carpet?! I use the washable wet pads and I highly recommend washing them before the first use. Microfiber performs better after its first wash
@RobotMasters5 жыл бұрын
Huh, my m6 doesn't make a sound while sitting on the charger, maybe try resetting the robot, hold down the power button for 10 seconds. If it continues maybe a replacement. Yes the Robot can not go over any threshold thinks it's a barrier aka carpet. Got to get the washable pads, disposable ones are pricey and hard to get 😓 What kind of sounds does it make 🤔
@stephanlevesque76325 жыл бұрын
Robot Masters The tone is similar to the one it makes when it is ready to begin a cleaning session. About every 30 seconds for an hour yesterday it was doing it. I checked it and everything was fine. Hi, Nathan. I just bought the Costco one and I have a question before it arrives. If you put a threshold on the app map does it work well to get it to go over the threshold or no? I saw a video titled "Threshold Problem Solved Braava Jet M6 Mop" that showed that feature, but no one has it in a review showing if it works or not.
@RobotMasters2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t personally tried that feature, but apparently the robot will make several attempts to get over the threshold.

Does m6 leave tire marks on ceramic tile floor? I am considering getting a m6 but the possibility of having tire marks all over the apartment makes me hesitant.
@RobotMasters5 жыл бұрын
Micah Pang Good question, some of the users who own the m6 including myself have been using Distilled water which eliminates the tire streaking. You can also use the minimum spray and extended mode to minimize the overlapping of the tires to reduce the tire streaking. Lastly iRobot is working on a update to improve the navigation and cleaning pattern to reduce this as well. Hope this answers your question and take care 👍🏻

If you can still hear the spray motor, you may need to open the robot up and you should see the spray pump. Spin the motor by hand until the solution starts coming out. This helps start the sprayer if the 240 hasn’t been used in awhile.

Watching the m6 shove those bath mats around, I spontaneously remembered your Roomba tangle test, and it occurred to me that this would be perfect for people who are too lazy to keep their floors clear, since it would just push charging cords and dirty socks out of the way to mop under them!
