Have you tested this to see how easily it goes over doorway transitions? I have a tile bathroom floor with a transition between that in the hardwood. I'm wondering if it will think it's hitting a rug and not climb over it. The current braava mop I have does not.
@agnieszka7774 жыл бұрын
I will not. I got m6, have same problem - hardwood around the house and tiles in bathroom, there is small gap (like 5mm) fillet with silicone, it is few mm difference in height (I think 2-3mm). M6 went through first 3 times, now it doesn't want to go there. It is nearly entering bathroom and goes back. It pisses me off because if I want m6 to mop bathroom have to carry it there and after it can't find base so have to carry it back. What is interesting it has no problem leaving bathroom, only entering. Any solutions?

Until it fills itself with water and dumps the pad into a bin before it recharges, it's got a long way to go. It still needs to be picked up to have the water filled/dumped out, left open so the inside can dry out to prevent it from stinking and the pad taken off and thrown in the trash/washing machine after it's done charging. It's ability to clean over a larger area is the only advantage over the previous models.

I just bought a new M6 and I'm not happy with the streaking mess it leaves behind... It leaves dirty streaks on the floor and tire tracks as well. Imagine the floor being dirty and taking a wet cloths and just wiping it on the dirty floor and not wiping until all of the smudges were gone. That is what my floor looks like when the M6 is done. I also have the 300 series mop and it doesn't do this as badly. I'm going to try to work with the M6 to figure out if it will mop better, but as for now I'm not happy with my $500 purchase
@bicster65355 жыл бұрын
I returned mine for this exact same reason (I also had the annoying error 45 - close the lid problem) I could not have streaks on my floor.. I know the problem is a combination of too much water being spray, the shitty pad and the straight lines of the mopping.. they could probably fix it by reducing the amount of water spray (even on the lowest it is too much for my floor), changing the pad (the paper pad that's included sux, maybe the washable cloth is better), and not doing a perfect forward and back motion.. instead maybe vibrate just a little while moving forward and backward. I might look at this in another 6 months... I really wanted this to work.. Bob.. any luck in solving the streaks..

Could you give an estimate on how many square feet the Braava can clean in one run? Let say in Standard mode with medium settings for the water. well if you really want to use this for a big house you have to let it run daily, because there is only so much dirt a single small mopping pad can handle. having to use it on a daily basis takes some effort and for the price i think the hizero mop is the by far better alternative.

Bought an M6 a couple weeks ago. Does a decent job but the M6 is the dumb brother to the S9 vacuum. Wonders around like it is lost when it starts a job, cannot go up and over any small lip of tile or transition strip and it took 5 times for it to map our house. The Roomba s9 is smart and quick. M6 fumbles around, needs help more often, but eventually gets things done. I am glad we got it, but wish it was as smart and efficient as the Roomba.
@Polloloco35 жыл бұрын
Keep out zones for robots will be awesome. The only thing that still has me worried about my s9 is the extractors being ripped up too easy. Could be from the extractors being on the front and hitting objects way easier than the center. Already went through one pair, but to iRobot support teams credit they did replace. Still an issue and I may have to rethink my purchases that I already made.

Patricia Torres yeah it does. The 980 cannot clean a particular room, but the m6 can clean the whole floor plan or individual rooms after the 980 is done. A feature that’s missing from the 980 and s9 is sending the mop after a scheduled clean. Maybe i just can’t find it, but on the app I can schedule the roomba to clean everyday, but it doesn’t have the mopping option through scheduling. So I schedule the s9 the clean every morning at 9am and the m6 is scheduled every Monday and Friday morning at 10am. I just made sure to give the vacuum enough time to finish before the mop does its thing.
