A nation's military is a reflection of its society. The IDF is not designed to fight an attritional war. Israel is the size of New Jersey. This means it has no strategic depth. The IDF is designed to fight the type of traditional combat the world saw in 1948,56, 77, and 73. These campaigns generally lasted weeks and sometimes days.The demographics of Israel argue against attritional warfare as well. They simply do not have the manpower or the economic base to fight this type of war. No matter how spectacular the Mossad and the IDF's Special Forces are showing itself to be, it can not change the fundamental geographic, economic, and demographic limitations Israel has to contend with.

@@ГригорийФилиппов-ы3еin a sense yes, but it actually started when the Eastern Europeans Hertzl and Jabotinski (and many others) started what became the Zionist movement...inventing a "history" (and even the language, Hebrew, being wholly invented around that period as well) to justify the creation of a nation (previously non-existent) based on a concocted "racial" and "religious" identity to whom an ancient mythical deity promised a homeland. This was then taken up by the City of London (the real owners of the British Empire since the Rothschild cabal acquired control of the Bank of England following their scam at the Battle of Waterloo) and Rothschild funding to implant a European controling/colonial entity in Arab lands. This still not being enough, the British maneuvered to install a number of brutal and petty local warlords as regional "Kings/Princes" (see the Laurence of Arabia or theord Balfour (and his (in) famous "declaration") story for more) this, being very evident in Sandhurst Academy trained/educated "King" of Jordan, whose family is descendent of one of these Saudi warlords, they not even of Jordan and illegitimate. All of it is far, far older than just 1948, and it originates in the City of London and all of its machinations to maintain Empire.

Iron Dome shows the main problem of modern AA: It's made to shoot downsingle planes and intercontinental nukes and is in theory pretty good at that, problem is that the launchers cost 50 million and every single missile costs 100k with a considerable production time. That's a good trade off if you use it in it's original scenario but these days they have to intercept hailstorms of dirt cheap Katyusha rockets you can churn out by the hundreds. Meaning you can overload the system by a large wave of cheap stuff and then take out the empty launchers with a follow up wave of the guided heavy hitters once that is done you are essentially free to send whatever you like from Kalibrs and Kinschals to whatever hypersonic goodies you can get your hands on.

Thank you, Weeb Union, for the first objective assessment of the missile strike that I have heard today. On the radio, they put on the "foreign affairs aide" to one of our senators (probably his AIPAC minder) who assured listeners that Israel only targets military bases, but Iran deliberately targets civilians, and that 99% of these missiles were blown up in the sky by Iron Dome and never reached the ground. So I turned on the TV where a Pentagon spokesman was having a news conference. He answered practically every question with either "we'll need to do further assessment on that" or "we'll need to consult with our Israeli masters" - I think he actually said "Israeli allies", but you get the picture. It is great to have independent news sources like Weeb Union!

Jordan is not painted over. And this is actually an ally of Israel.Moreover, a real ally, and not like Saudi Arabia, which helps only blind paralytics from the air defenses of the United States and Israel, who are not able to independently notice the Houthi missiles all 2000 km of the trajectory. About escalation, Iran has only adopted the Israeli strategy and responded to provocations the way Israel does. The main difference is that Iran killed fewer civilians in the process.

The 1980s BBC realistic movie "Threads" depicting the life of a young woman in an English city during and after a total global nuclear war. Warmly recommended as a romantic movie when you want to get rid or your girlfriend! Anyway, the story started out with a war in Iran... Just like this one.
@leonardwimbelton8920Ай бұрын
Why do people keep saying that Threads is realistic? It literally was a piece of propaganda to keep the narrative of the "Red Scare" going.
@peterdoyle1591Ай бұрын
@@leonardwimbelton8920 Threads would be realistic if it was a limited nuclear war. If it was a full scale nuclear war everything and everybody would be dead everywhere on the planet within a year. @mars353Ай бұрын
Iran already tested Israel’s defenses when they retaliated for the Israeli attack on the Iranian embassy If Israel in Damascus. Although the West wrote the attack off as a failure, Iran actually hit the areas they wanted to hit (but deliberately did no damage). This Iranian strike sent a clear message that they can destroy Israel with conventional missiles. Israel/US will run out of missiles before Iran and Russia do, so attrition is Iran’s game not Israel’s. If Israel targets Iran’s nuclear facilities, then Iran can do the same to Israel. Plus, it’s possible that North Korea can simply give Iran anything it needs to quickly develop a nuclear weapon.
@bjorntorlarssonАй бұрын
Your analysis seems most reasonable! Militarily such a strike probably had only temporary effect on the airfields hit. So it would be reasonable if it was meant as a warning, a demonstration. Given, of course, that Iran has the quality and quantity of heavier missiles as they are commonly said to have. And Israel if anyone knows about that, so no use for Iran to lie about it.

This was already proved by mass missile attacks months ago. Rallying all their neighbors and the USA, Israel fended off the attack, but with a reduced capacity to repeat the same trick. Simple fact is the Iranians can produce more drones and missiles than Israel and her allies can produce air defense to stop. Patriot is good. But expensive and in limited supply. We see this playing out in Ukraine and Israel.
