As a fan, I really don't like that Iron Maiden travel by plane so much. They expose themselves to great danger each time by doing that. And I think the fact that the vocalist also is the pilot is not a good combination. Beeing a frontman in a band like Maiden is a very demanding job, and will without doubt affect his qualities as a pilot.

I think he said in an interview he only had simulator training and never landed the real thing until Fort Lauderdale
