One of the best opening tracks of any Maiden album, hands down

They purposely put the synthesiser front and center at the opening after Somewhere in Time where the synthesiser was there but sorta' hidden in the back ground.

@@princesssolace4337 I loved the use of the synths. added a dimension that just worked so well for this album

@@BrendanMacsGuitarGear makes me wonder in their live shows .... who is playing the keyboard, bcoz I can clearly hear it

@princesssolace4337 Back then when they played the song Seventh son live, the title track from this album it was the devil that played the keyboard.😅😈

Seventh son of the seventh son is an old england tale. Wether it is inspired by christianity I dont know.

Intro to 80s movie? What do u expect, the album was released in 88 ... and this is their second effort after 86 Somewhere in Time to incorporate synthesiser into their album/song

Sorry I guess?

@@zackreacts711 Need no apologies ... its the vibe/synthesiser sound of the time/era .... we have to wait till 1990 Depeche Mode - Violator turning the synthesiser to industrial sounding music/tones.

@@zackreacts711 If u are interested, I wud recommend u check out 1987 Depeche Mode - Strangelove ... that is when we can clearly hear the industrial tonal vibe in their rhythm section(drum and bass) from synthesiser/electronic music.
