Paul & Clive are smiling at you two enjoying this from that great pub in the sky. Things were not so good between him & Maiden for a long time, but as time passed all was forgiven. Over this past year or so there's video & photos of him hanging out with Steve Harris (the bass player) & Bruce Dickinson all with happy smiles on their faces. He even toured & performed his Maiden era songs on stage with Blaze Bayley. Paul was always the soul of Iron Maiden.

I met him in 2007! We sat at the same table in a pub The most humble and down to earth guy. He made one of the best gigs I've ever seen. R.I.P.

Fame came to quick for Paul. He got into drugs and drinking bad. He was in punk band before Maiden. I saw him in 87' with the band Battlezone. He played all the frist two albums. Great front man. Bruce just took them to the next level. His two albums he did with them are still in the top5 Maiden albums of all time

I grew up during this era, in the late 70's i was leaning towards the aggressive punk sound, we only had AC/DC, Deep Purple and Rainbow, really pushing the Hard Rock boundaries, JP were still developing into a Metal band! But 'Out Of The Madness, in late 1979 i heard a band for the first time, aggressive, raw, and Heavy! Iron Maiden, with this amazing vocallist, bringing punk energy, and attitude, a real deal larger than life Eastender, and this amazing drumming coming from Clive Burr, they changed the direction of Heavy Metal, and my outlook on music, 58 now, and still a headbanger, but Maidens first 2 albums with Paul are still my favourite, and most cherished albums! Vale Paul Di'Anno Andrews, legend, the real beast, the voice that changed Metal forever! Lets not forget the drummer who changed Metal forever, Vale Clive Burr, legendary, elite drumming mahine! ❤

RIP Paul, the first two albums of Maiden are pure metal...Bruce took the band to another level, but the punky-heavy mix of their music and attitude just gone when Paul left the band.

Such a great live version of the song. I always liked Paul more than Bruce, probably because of his aggressive voice, especially here on "Remember Tomorrow". A song he wrote himself. There's a very good cover by Anthrax. Rock in Peace Paul...

Moving to Dickinson was a clear upgrade and made them the global force they are. With Paul, they were held back by his addiction and erratic behavior. He also is not as good a singer as Bruce. Just facts. With that said Itoday’s Maiden would not exist without him. I respect Paul and may he rest in peace.

6:04 This is the true power of iron, not this melodic and commercial music that they play today. The first two albums with Paul are just heavier, after Bruce joined the band became more commercial melodic, even sounding a little pop!

A time when maiden were a truly exciting and progressive band....then they hired the ego maniac Dickinson - who loves himself waaaaaay more than maiden.

Paul Di'Anno Iron Maiden... The only Maiden I moderately tolerate. I mean I respect the Dickinson era, but I fall asleep listening to it. This is FIRE!!! If only they had continued on with the punk / metal vibe they had in these first albums, and instead of toning them down making them more dynamic.... ... I can dream! I mean Bruce Dickinson's solo albums are more what I imagined Iron Maiden to evolve to than Iron Maiden themselves!
