He always was that way... well, most superhero actually. After all this also allows to have similar characters with different stories and still have them as one comic. Now that Rhodey and Pepper are back, I wonder if they'd keep Riri though. With some good enough writing and effort damage already done can be reversed. However I wouldn't be very optimistic, considering how they've just protrayed kid Tony as nigh omnipotent ass.

In fact, according to the power rankings of Marvel's official website, Iron Man is rated higher than all the top tier avengers like Hulk, Thor & Captain Marvel. Iron Man - 33/42 Hulk - 32/42 Thor - 32/42 Captain Marvel - 29/42 Some of his armours like God Killer, Model Prime, Bleeding Edge, Endo Sym, Uru Armor, Extremis Armor etc had godly powers

Ultimate power "level" of Batman, Luthor, Stark, Richards comes not from their physical feats, but from what they potentially CAN do if given opportunity. That's why I like Gods&Monsters Superman, who at the height of his character arc decides to switch anti-hero longcoat on labcoat in kryptonian lab. Because this way he'd more good then in a lifetime of punching. Because that's what he can do. All Star touches this theme, but its mostly glossed over because its his final days. Animated version brings forth Luthor starting on the path of redemption though so he'd be the one, who realises that potential in the world. For example, can Tony lift a whole continent? Obvious answer is no, he never did. But we did see him do it! Why am I saying such a paradoxical thing? Because Ultron did it with Stark tech! Not a continent, but a city. We know what Ultron does, what Sentinels did, what Hulkbuster is capable off, what Vision does. This is the potential. Tony can go grey goo if he wants when his enemy would be flooded with endless stream of [Insert]busters that adapt to their target and just increase production. There is no upper limit. We know that Luthor can design immotality, then a few centuries later create a dyson sphere around a sun, then several millenias later he'd dubble with evolution in some other reality and timeline and so on. There is no way to put a limit on visionary or inventor if you've made their character too smart to live. If they can figure navigating a time stream in one evening or build a fusion reactor in a cave with scrap.

Tony put all his memories in a back up body and pretty much came out of his coma. Rhodes is revived from the dead by Tony via the same method. Riri is still Iron Heart, is now a member of Champions, lost her suit to Thanos in a curb stomp battle and built a new armor after said defeat. And Dr. Doom is scarred again and went back to being his usual self in ruling Latveria. EDIT: Oh, and Frank Castle gave up the War Machine suit to Rhodey. He went back to his usual methods and ended up killing the fucking Manderin!

@comicstorian the voice you use in this if perfect for iron man I love the work you do you make it fun and i'm aware you're aren't a trained voice actor but I think you'd bring it to new heights if you made/used different voices ( distinct) and or got others i.e different guys ( idk your range) get some passionate women involved to play the females. Don't think I don't notice the voice modifications you do and stuff it truly is amazing but I think that extra bit of effort will make this AMAZING. Also in your spare time why not look into some entry level voice acting or at least integrate some rudimentary techniques. A small investment of time and energy working in tandem with your passion will make a huge impact. Hell i'd send some audio clips. I just found out im the same ethnicity as and share a love of science like miles morales so if you ever need a black Hispanic to play him i'd do it for free call it a " pseudo patreon donation" lol ( hell you let me do some voices on the channel and Ill donate regularly)

The Haves and the Have Nots Review Yeah, that is a good subversion to the usual format of Tony ruining somebody’s life in the past and they return in the present as a villain. That’s legitimately character development right there as he essentially ensured no assholes will plot some over the top scheme to ruin Stark AND create a major asset for his company.
