I just placed my first order with you for both the iron remover and the clay towel. My question is to ensure the product and clay towel are safe to use on ceramic coated ppf. I guess I should have asked before I ordered, but the question hit me later because my car has xpel ppf and the wrap is coated with a ceramic coating for ppf. I am sure that despite a ceramic coating on the ppf, iron particles easily embed in the ppf. Thank you.

We demonstrate Iron Remover with the towel in this video:) Just be extra careful in direct sunlight, work in small sections, you don't want to spray the Iron Remover on willy nilly and let it get a ton of dwell time. @@diydetailofficial Awesome! Thank you. Great explanation video for my question. Quick beads is really cool. One final question. The ceramic coating on my ppf is modesta. They have a product called M2 Blast Maintenance Spray. I presume it can be used like ceramic gloss? It’s instructions are its a quick detailer type maintenance product for their ceramic coating.

I havent used it, but DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss will Go a great job at maintaining it.

Plus, sometimes you can grab a hand brush and knock it out versus grabbing a drill and attachments. I have both options and sometimes I’m just grabbing the hand brush.

It’s a Chinese brush we were testing out, pretty sure they private label for other companies and we get all kinds of stuff sent to us all the time from different companies so we tested it that day

When i open a fuel tank door i have a little rust spot from rain and water accumulating at the bottom...i sand it a little and put some chip paint and it stood for a while but got off pretty soon Can i just spray it with iron remover and wipe it off... will it hurt the bare metal under the rust

The DIY Detail Iron Remover will not damage it, and will help. That said a proper repair is best.

Yes, but extraction may be required to remove the purple trace of the iron remover.

We tested all clean on the rusted area, to me it was rust, Nick insisted it was dirt. Once it didn’t budge, we did it with DIY Detail Iron Remover followed by DIY Detail All Clean on the whole mat.
