@@TheKurtlocker yeah I had a guy buy one and return it because he thought he was getting the sharper version. That’s why I wanted to do the video to see the difference and how they compare to the black zinc and cerakote

@@carps_gym Im that guy! lol. Returned it and got the Cerakote version with same dulled knurling. After some more back and forth with support, got a third bar and finally got the aggressive knurling I was expecting. Very confusing to have different bars all sold under the same name.

@@mattbellendir7415 yeah I honestly thought or assumed they were all super aggressive, but after going back to the website details it does say the bare ones is medium knurling. You were the main reason I got this one in so I could compare them side by side. Sorry for the confusion. Hopefully this helps others in the future.

Nice review man! Good to see you entering the space. IMO the bar specs to 28.5mm. This aids the overall stiffness and the 28.5mm shafts are typically less stiff than the 29mm bars (although not by too much)

I also just noticed your "solid bar" reference. I'll assume this is a joke because the manufacturer is "Solid Bar Fitness"

Yeah I know it’s 28.5 but I also have a few others bars at 28.5 and and a couple 29s and this one “feels like” a 29mm to me I guess it’s just the way they cut in the knurling.

@@NoFate247 yeah this one has far as color is Henry Ford style bare or black, but if colors are your thing the Blue Collar bar maybe right up your Alley with 7 cerakote color options!

It's surprising that the cerakote power barbell they offer is sharper than the bare steel.. great review 👍

Yeah it’s looks to be the same Knurling on the Black Oxide and the Cerakote one and the bare steel is the same patterned just with the valcano peak s cut way down not very sharp, but it’s not passive it’s a more grippy feel.

Great review man. I'm gonna have to check out some of their bars. I love their logo and those end caps. I wanted some of their band pegs but they're pretty pricy. I may splurge one day lol.
