Jake E. Lee is not only one of the best guitarists in history, but he also has one of the best rock guitarist's stances ever! Total bad ass! I was lucky enough to see him live with Ozzy. I really regret never seeing Badlands live!

You're so right. If Ray hadn't died they would have been huge. I know Greg Chaisson is the new bassist for RDC. we got half of Badlands.

Ray Gillen still leaves me wondering why he is not as legendary as Hendrix. His passing truly took something special and unique. And from what I've read and heard, he was a really great person. Best vocals in rock music, and hardly anyone even remembers him.

ya, its cuz they weren't mainstream. They didnt get the attention like bands like metallica or guns n roses. I like bands like Badlands because they have hidden skill. Its a shame though cuz they didnt have as many fans as other bands. Another non mainstream rockin band is Dangerous Toys. Check out Dangerous Toys - Scared. You might like it.

Badlands- what a band, what a line up. RIP Ray Gillen. Badlands were on the cusp of being one of the best bands out there at the time. Jake was on a mission(after the Ozzy debacle) and it came through in a big way. Great song writing. 🤘🏻🎸🎼
