IRONHEAD '62 HARLEY SPORTSTER! RARE VINTAGE DRAG HARLEY! FIRST TIME DOWN THE 1/4! BYRON!

Check out Al's Balice's original period correct '62 Harley Davidson Sportster! Al aquired the bike back in '19 and started working on it. For power he opted for a vintage '69 Ironhead 90" with a 5" stroke. A work in progress the bike was taken to the track for a few 1/8th mile test hits then went into storage. Besides the sportster, Al's collection of older harleys include a Top Fuel Harley among others. Al who has a couple race Harleys he competes with also builds custom harleys so these bikes take precedence over the projects. With Byron Dragway hosting their vintage drag racing Glory Day's event coming up in July 16-18th, Al decide to get the bike out and get it ready to showcase it. As you can tell the bike is a handful and the crew just wanted an easy test pass to make sure everything was working properly, considering the bike had never been down the 1/4 mile. According to Al since returning back to the shop they made some tuning adjustments and the bike is running top notch now and ready for Glory Days. #ironhead #vintageharley #sportster
