The same thing recently happened to me. Went for a more aggressive, locked in position, and the saddle was too far forward and low. It blew my quads to pieces and affected my power. Even caused some patellar tendinitis that I'm using Leukotape to alleviate as my aching knees recover. Sometimes small changes in fit have a big impact. I was able to make the adjustments with an immediate fix. So frustrating when you know is was avoidable. I'm sure you already have your position corrected. Best wishes at St. George. I have confidence you'll bounce back very strong!

Already up there with the strongest, and there is so many gains to be collected on the bike. Using a better helmet, aero skewers, integrated aero skis, a better aero bottle... This could easily cut about 1:30minutes off.

I’m sure you’re going to work it out. If your bike was good at Cozumel, try to find similar settings and you’ll be fine. You want to be able to push on the bike without sacrificing comfort and your speed on the run. Maybe you are still adapting from Sierra Nevada camp also? Anyway keep the good work and keep posting 😜

Så rå är du! I was wondering about a thing, since I'm there right now myself with a minor injury/inflammation in my shoulder(XC-skier), how do you as an elite athlete deal with minor injuries over a period of time, considering the, what I assume is, huge impact it has on you if you arent able to train? Do you push on with moderation including rehab or try to rest and rehab more? I think I'm right now at that fine line between a minor and a major injury, but I have a planned race next wknd so 🤔😅
