The best find was the bracelet(->pocket watch chain) right? What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
@simonorch3 жыл бұрын
I'd say it was a pocket watch chain. Classic rubbish pit you guys dug with all the usual types of finds. Those chess set and gaming pieces come from a gaming set given to soldiers as a Christmas present in 1944 by the German occupation authorities in Norway ie. Terboven and Co. , we find them all over the place. Regards, Norwegian digger of over 20 years.

Watching your videos before I go to work, I know it sounds weird but you have been a very big role model my great grandfather was an American soldier with the Thunderbird division during ww2 and just watching these pieces of historical evidence come to light after so many years intrigues me tremendously.

WOW, some incredible finds Mike and group. It's obvious that a lot of your finds so far have being around creature comfort items (well the best there could be for WW2 soldats, eh). I hope you feel like you need to explore more in this area as I think you find more fighting artifacts are you more closer to their front. A FANTASTIC and quite enjoyable video Mike... Mike, remember the video you made on the POW camp in France and you found that dogtag? Hermann Wiesel, he was kriegsmarine, admiral, you had found KM buttons, well not to be identified as an admiral, he wore a lower ranks officer's uniform of Lt. I just looked everything up. Born in Russia, moved to New York after 1949. Hope this helps ya.

I wonder if you can find what that license plate is from. The Germans documented everything. Nice video, looking forward to seeing more. 👍

As I found, the license plates weren't connected at any way to a certain type of vehicle. What I did find was this range: Militair district VI Münster (Westfalen) = WH 60.000-69.999 So 613545 fits in this range 😃 please correct me if I'm wrong

@@IronMikeMetaldetecting It's made of zinc, what is a sensitive material after this long time buried. Cleaning with water, soap and a brush gave us a good result. After drying in the oven it was preservated with wax. That's all. I really wonder how dump pits from ww2 have nearly the same contents. We have surely thousands of theses ampoules...
