That little bit explaining why Joey is the way he is is so sad to me. It illustrates how Plutonian once was a good kid who wasn't in control of his powers, and that lack of control made people scared of him, which in turn broke him. Not to mention Joey himself, having to live his life, unaware of anything other than the way it is. And of course, I'm sure the parents feel just as responsible.

Modeus turn himself into Data and being in the internet essentially make him immortal because even if they destroy his physical form the data will still be there to pop up at any moment and create a new forms.

Could just be the recency bias but I'm liking Irredeemable more than The Boys. I think Plutonians descent into being a villain is more compelling than the way most of the "superheroes" in The Boys were just innately terrible people

Thing is, they're different for a real big reason. Supes like Homelander and the like were never raised to be people, or superheros as it were. They were raised to be mascots and corporate sponsors. The story of Irredeemable tells the story of a man's decent. The Boys speaks of the corporate manipulation.

A lower quality (but respectable) coverage of this series exists on youtube and the narrator says "Samsara, who is being inhabited by Modeus" every single time he says Samsara. *spoilers* When Modeus inhabits Encanta, he switched the phrase to "Encanta, who is being inhabited by Modeus" every time. I make some money at this, but not a huge amount. I work with a video editor now, and a lot of my ad revenue goes toward that, but it’s worth it to save me some time. Shoot me an email though ([e-mail]), just so I can stay in touch. I’ve thought about hiring someone to help me with doing first drafts on my script writing. Also I’ve had this idea in my head to cover funny ridiculous golden/silver age comics, but I might need someone to read them and find the funniest ones worth covering. This is something I’ve been thinking about for a long time. I’m not sure I have work though I need at this moment, but I definitely have some ideas for the future and having a comic nerd with time to read is something I might be interested in.

Great stuff. Hopefully Hollywood can do actual comic book based Movie, knock on 🪵, or better yet a series to make like a 3 or 6hr🎬 , can just imagine which current actors can play which characters. This comic jus leaves u wanting more, wonder now if comic is based on meta commentary bout society always wanting more n more not caring for actors losing out on other potential roles like being typed cast n even dude I mean physical n mental toll must take to keep playing same character fir 10yrs+ I mean think bout it. They have to keep n physical shape to match character likeness, it's like lots f folks didn't appreciate King Tchalla actor wen he passed away jus wer more interested in who will play the next BLACK PANTHER. I think modeus went into samsara’s gem not his body per say. It wasn’t until his brain death that modeus was able to take over the body. That’s my theory anyway
