Just to elaborate on what I said in my intro, at the moment I am not planning on covering Incorruptible beyond the crossover issues, sorry to disappoint some of you hoping I would cover that as well. I only have so much time to make videos, and I don't want to devote the time it would take to cover the entire Incorruptible 7 trade paperback volume series. Incorruptible is not needed to enjoy Irredeemable, the story in Incorruptible is more so in parallel doing its own thing, and the plot intersection between both books never really happens in a meaningful way. I enjoy Irredeemable much more, but Incorruptible is a perfectly fine spin-off series to read if you want to spend more time in the world of Irredeemable, so I recommend reading it on your own if you are interested.

Okay so Max Damage and Jailbait. I'm gonna assume PNC(Post Nut Clarity) hit him harder than Tony because when we first see Jailbait with him by the car she wants to get frisky but he says no due to her age but when we get a flashback to when they supposedly first met they hook up and Max only found out her age afterwards. Also I need friend like Quibit in my life. Constantly murdering people and making his life miserable but still willing to cross literal dimensions to give me another chance.

Danny great video as usual, I'd like to try to field the Cary issues. When he first attacks plutonian , he caught him by surprise. They revealed that Tony's powers are more mental than physical so until he adjusted to the threat Cary was able to hurt him. As to the sword through the back , much like green lantern and others Cary is a regular human protected by force fields. In that moment he wasn't protecting himself from a attack .

Such a strange story. I think it takes away from Plutonian’s character to turn him into an alien probe baby imprinted by a crazy person. He’s not a story of “what if otherwise sane human had powers?” its “what if crazy lady made alien baby with her mind and it pretended to be a human for a while but now it’s going wild with alien powers?” No nearly as interesting to me, we aren’t exploring the human condition anymore. It’s something more fantastical.

I agree not sure where the Carry plot was going. They made it seem like he could take the new bros powers. But then he is the source? So like what is there to take? But how he died made sense to me. He had energy shields it seemed he needed to know a attack was coming to have that defensive power. So he was tough enough to battle the strongest when he knows their coming. But he can be taken out like everyone else otherwise.

It’s good to watch a KZbin cover the book, but moments like these is why it’s good to read the comic for yourself. The comic explains that once Cary gave his powers away it couldn’t be undone unless his brothers die. So it was implied that Cary came to kill the last of the triplet to get all his power back. I do agree tho, that it seemed that the writers didn’t know what to do with the Cary plot so they were just like “fuck it” and killed him off. So it seemed like everything concerning him had no pay off.

Sooooo.... It seems Mark waid and them sadly jumped their shark.... Pretty much everything after the alien trade off of Plutonian has been a mess ... Sadly 😔.... To make this as brief as possible... The way it should've went : Cary goes evil overlord and the fallout from that.... Plutonian off world is actually redeemed and gets his whole messed up bag emptied and filled with purpose, destroying that empire and fighting his way home for the major battle of Cary and his guys vs Plutonian and the ppl he has shown he's changed too.... The outcome can be the "cool controverial" whatever... Now of the many useless things... And I love the story and your telling of it by the way.... Isn't Ms Patel supposed to learn the secret identity just in the last moments of sanity heroism.... So why is she screaming out Tony???? Maybe I'm wrong, idk....
