@@FirstnameLastname-my7bz Imagine if Qubit allowed Plutonian to be killed by the candle bullet instead of Orian earlier in the series. Ok fine. But there's a reason why Orian was deemed "a last resort," and it's likely because there wasn't a way to re-banish him, so now they've killed Tony but Orian is still alive, and they would've likely had to unleash Tony's parents (or some equivalent) anyway in order to deal with Orian. No, Superman by Siegel and Shuster was Wild card vigilante with anger issues who killed/left to die/didn't care if they died in process of intimidation his villains, who were mostly average human gangsters or even super smart humans (he tried to kill Ultra-Humanite and Luthor multiple times). He was far from being square (except maybe in the sense he didn't like murderers, thieves, bullies, etc) and definitely not a boy scout nor follower of any kind of authority except his own values (although he Never touched policemen or military that was on his side, even if they were shooting at him) and he wasn't even always in the right even within narrative by writer,i.e.his co-creator (Superman 25 and 47 for clear example). And only reason he softened in further issues was because of ban on violence and questionable deeds by editors. Original Superman is far from wholesome archetype, that was mostly Clark Kent side.

He pulled a better Professor X styled move than when Professor X did (against Shadow King if I remember correctly...?). The ending was kinda weird and artsy, but I didn't hate it. I love your videos, but I disagree with your comment that Max Damage's inclusion being pointless. Max Damage was there to show his extreme anger at Qubit's plan in front of the Plutonian. It was very polarized, but I think Waid did what others wouldn't for the ending. It really came out of left field to me. But I was in awe about it moreso than angry or disappointed. I felt Plutonian got redemption for sure, and in his essence could see the path qbit paved for him as probably the best. A pure start, made me think of the beyonder's death in secret wars 2, where his energy was so strong that it created another universe somewhere in the distance of space or time or both, where sentient life grew from the fruit of his energies. In this case, it's similar as he inspires an entire universe of superheroes like someone said earlier. Good narration btw, I've honestly enjoyed your videos for quite some time and appreciate all the work you put in. should maybe try exterminators, or lucifer someday. a few other really good one was locke and key, the swamp thing vol5 with scott snyder, Curse words, rat queens, Crimson is an old image series about vampires that no one ever talks about as well. You're doing well and would never try to tell you to deviate, but I bet you would do well with narrating mangas manwas as well, especially the more obscure types. Overall, I agree with your views on this series. However, Cary being built up as a threat and then being easily taken out wasn't really that difficult to understand. Cary's powers made him a major threat. He could protect himself from almost any threat that he saw coming. He didn't see Gil behind him with the sword. So, he was killed off because he couldn't use his powers to defend against the attack. Now, had Gil tried that head-on, Cary's powers would have protected him.
