I think very worth it if you have doorbell power. You can get motion notifications when you're Amazon packages get delivered and have video if anyone takes them before you get them.

I have the Logitech Circle View Doorbell and couldn't be happier. Picture quality is wonderful. However, there are many reviews that state there are overheating issues if you get direct sunlight on it. I prefer the color night vision to IR night vision like the Belkin uses. Also, I am not a fan of the fish-eye lens on the Belkin.

I currently installed a smart doorbell and was wondering if I should caulk around where the door bell wires come out of the wall. The previous doorbell was sealed all the way around. The current one though is not flush against the wall and even if caulked would still be exposed at the camera doesn't seal to the wall plate. I've included images as well. edit: I've gone ahead and caulked the back where the wires come out so that insects and other stuff cant get in. I'm a little worried about the edges though thoughts?
