I feel like you have gotten pretty far with this considering you weren’t born into racing or whatever. If you befriend some locals who you could learn from you would learn a ton, figure it all out and most importantly have some fun. Also while you were at the track, even if the car was broken you could have made pass after pass in the truck and have a lot of fun! Shit man I’m a loner too, I live alone, like to work alone, and do 80 percent of life alone BUT you need some friends SOME of the time. If I was local to you I would really enjoy helping you out. Easy on yourself bro, you just tossed this thing together after it sitting in a dirt lot with small animals inside for a very long time. Either way good luck. Id keep it if I were you, you haven't even got to experience what that cars capable of yet. One good pass off the trans brake and you'd realize what you have and be hooked. A decent price and it would sell very fast. The sport is at an all time high in popularity. Good luck bro, dont be so hard on yourself.

Ouch. Talk about a kick to the nuts. To get that close to making a pass, but nope. Have to say, with EFI you need to establish connection with the ecu. You’re working blind without that. The fact that it was back firing at first was an indicator that something was amiss. If it was me, I would do the following before raising the white flag. I would make the needed changes to establish the connection from your computer to the engine ecu. This way you can actually get the bitch to run right. Do you think if you were actually able to make a good pass in the car, would you change your mind? You’re so close to having the recipe for a pretty quick car. Good engine platform, turbo, good transmission and a decent chassis. With engine supporting modifications like a cam, valve springs and a good tune, she could lay down respectable power. But in the end, if you’re truly over the car mentally, it should go. I’m a stubborn prick and have a hard time knowing when to say no more…

Ive been over it for a while now. Car's gotta go. I got a vehicke ive been wanting to build for a few years, but I gotta get a house 1st. If I could sell this thing, i could get the house TOMORROW. Then everything would fall into place.

Put it on eBay or wherever and get what you can for it. Be done it with it. Who knows....it might have gotten you in a bad accident (like your story about your stepfather and his motorcycle). Good luck.
