This tank is an example of an EA-like mentality. Pay-to-win shit that you have to sink hundreds of hours, consistently (not everyone has that time) into, and furthermore, it's a terrifying example of what I fear is to come. The IS-7 is one of the scariest Cold War designs out there. It's tall-ass machinegun, and the amount of machineguns it has, it derpy in and of itself, but the concept of a tank that can bounce almost every single round thrown at it bar high-tier chemical rounds is a terrifying prospect. Honestly, with how much better than the T-10M it is, I'd honestly switch around the tiering for these tanks. Have this thing fight shit like the XM-1, or god-forbid the Leopard 2A4; and finally...make it available as a premium tank. If they want to make it a pay-to-win tank, at least make it an expensive premium at 8.3-8.5. No need to make it scary either, 'cause it's scarier than the T-10M.

The IS-7 really excels at engaging face to face hull down, and side scraping. The front of the turret has such amazing effective armor that only super high penetration tank destroyers can really have a chance at penetrating you frontally.

I think War Thunder would be 10x as popular as it is now if it wasn't pay-to-play-the-vehicles-you-actually-want-to-play-in. If they just made it a leveling up system for every nation and you unlock all the vehicles the more you level up then that would have been so much better. Make it take maybe a week of grinding to unlock every plane/tank on any one nation as opposed to WEEKS of grinding with a premium account to do the same as it stands right now... It's ridiculously pay-to-play and it sucks ass. 90% of the vehicles in the game are locked behind a paywall disguised as a 'oh no you don't HAVE to spend money on this game to unlock everything' but really you do unless if you want to go insane. Even if they made War Thunder $15 to buy or something, I'd even prefer that over the shitty grinding system it has right now. SO MUCH LOST POTENTIAL. Hopefully once War Thunder starts dying they'll just unlock everything for everyone so we can actually have fun without having to spend money.

New game mode idea entrenchment team A is stuck in an urban area surrounded by rural areas where team B is. Team B gets unlimited respawns and team a gets limited spawns in order to prevent camping if the capturing team has 3 tanks for every 1 defending tank inside the town the defenders will automatically be forced to surrender or have a timer and when the timer runs out the game ends the teams would play two games who ever holds the city/objective in said city the longest wins this game would be mixed with airforce ground and sea as the game could be played in a port town or have a river going through a city and the boats could gain positions where there team could respawn instead allowing the tanks to get back into battle faster. @@happyman2236 your telling me you got all 6 vehicles from this one without spending money? I ground around 85hrs, spent around 10$ and got 2 vehicles, it is a rip off not a refinement I found the only people who enjoyedd this were those not wanting vehicles, just money from selling parts, I wouldnt consider that you had "completed" the event unless you got all 6, which should be possible.

The refinement comes in the fact that instead of having one large vehicle to grind you had 3 small ones (not sure where you are getting six, unless you went for two), meaning that if you only make it half way you still have two vehicles to use/sell. Another thing that helped is the components did not randomise until after your third, making the whole thing simpler as you only got components you needed. The whole thing took about 48 hours and I only really had one massive day of grinding.
