So although the pricing has become more "affordable" the insurance on these is INSANE! For anyone looking at these that wants something unique without the CRAZY insurance costs I would strongly encourage them to look at a Boss 302. Much cheaper entry price plus the insurance is considerably cheaper and similar to the GT350 the sound is definitely unique. Joe I would LOVE to see you compare the Boss 302 to either the 2015 and newer Mustang GT or better yet head to head with the Shelby GT350.

Personally I think the Chevrolet Camaro 2SS 1LE is the best used performance car, you can get them for around 35k+ with low milliage. They'll do about the same quarter mile in 12 seconds, 0-60 is the same at 4 seconds. The 1LE has heated and cooled seats in its Recaro's where the Ford doesn't. They have the same Magnetic ride, E-Diff. But yes for the extra 15k you do get the Voodoo engine and the beautiful 6 speed in that Shelby. But the Camaro is 98% the Shelby at 15k cheaper.

Save your money and go with a 13-14 gt500 for 15k less and get a lot better of a vehicle unless you just absolutely want a track focused car. Also just add headers, suspension and an e85 tune to your 19 and you'll have a better vehicle without spending that kind of money.

Such a great car! Joe - you bought one right? Do you still have it? P.S. Man, I love the white outlines on the racing stripes. I had a blk 2018 GT. I added matte blk racing stripes with red outlines. It was subtle, but looked great. After (and concurrent to) buying the '18, I added a 2012 GT that was also a premium. Had the glass roof. Oh man that was such a fun car. Unlike the '18 that had the 10 sp, it had a 6 sp manual which was so much more fun and engaging that the 10sp (which was awesome). I added the short-throw shifter and man that thing was tight and right! Next time, it will be a Boss 302 (2013) or one of these. My preference for the Boss would be the overall feel of that gen Mustang (like my '12). It was raw and visceral. And man, that rear end would kick out on-throttle, 2nd to 3rd at around 55-60 and what a glorious experience that always was. Whew, my heart is pounding!
