I have the Logitech G600 which this mouse is modeled after (and I wish it had the thumbrest) at twice the price and it is built like a tank and barring a major mishap (fried by power surge, crushed by desk and computer collpsing on it, flying out the window of a car) I would be surprised if it outlived 40pcs of your mice. But if you don't need it or want it for what you do, great, but there are lots of us out here that not only want them, like the mouse wheel, we want all of our mice to be like this from now on.

sjrn24 the buttons are helpful in almost anything. even in single player games. in Skyrim why press the favorites menu button, when i can just press the 12 keys plus the 2 for DPI speed

I bought this mouse from amazon in Febuary 2018. It is very comfortable. The size is nice for the size of my hands. I wish the weights it comes with were heavier. It still works good except the left click button won't hold anymore. It still clicks but if you need to hold it down like when you shoot a bow and arrow in skyrim, it just fires right away. I took it apart and cleaned some dust out of it but it still has the same problem. I have had it for about 5 years? Is that a long time for a gamming mouse to last?

I just ordered this mouse a couple days ago, just needed something to match my Gaming PC. Had the Naga Molten special edition and the internal components stopped functioning for some reason after 6 months. I called customer service (all sound like they are speaking from under a tunnel) and I was offered a Razer Naga 2014 and it has been working quite well performance wise. Anyway, It just didn't match my color setup, so I ordered this one and I hope that it at least compares.

I've had this mouse for around 3 to 4 years now and I use it for everything and only resently have I learnt everything about the software its amazing and I'm not sure if I'll ever go to one with 2 side buttons. I dont think the dpi is unnecessary it is good because if you wanna mess around and spin fast as fuck in game then you can in 1 to 3 clicks Edit: just found out that mouse is the idsact same but differant logo on back mine is from titan wolf

I ordered a razer epic elite naga and it broke after 2 months, then i got my money back and bought an razer naga normal, it broke after 2 months. kinda done with razer atm i ordered this one. we will see how it holds up (ive had a naga once before and it lasted 4 years, guess the older versions are stronger)

you can program the side buttons to about anything you can think of, i have been using this mouse for over a year now and after using it for a few months i went and bought a 2nd one and now after a year i own 3 i use 2 at all times and have the 3rd as a backup in case anything ever goes wrong but so far have held up great, also the do come with a 15 month warranty if i remember right? it does take a little practice to get used to the side buttons but they are much better then the razer naga and the corsair scimitar i owned both of those (i was a huge corsair fan) until i found this one! and razer sorry i will never buy there junk ever again 2 naga mice died in less then 6 months and 1 chroma keyboard

I got lucky, walmart's website had an error and listed the 2014 razer naga for $24.97. Original price was $79.97 or $89.97. Ordered two, one for me and one for my nephew. Paid $50 plus tax, went to the store the next day and sure enough it was the real deal. I saw the original post on HardOCP and so I tried and it worked. They fixed the error now so it's no longer available. Perhaps maybe black friday or cyber monday.

If you don't want the LEDs, you'll only be spending a buck or two less for a similar mouse that probably has worse build quality. I used to use an HP mouse, but be careful: they aren't very durable.

even ToT fell pray to the whole 16000 DPI advertisement stuff? A higher dpi does not mean it will be more accurate. Unless it has a really good laser, it will actually be worse than the same laser at a lower dpi. a lower dpi with a more accurate laser is better,

Increasing DPI on the mouse and decreasing sensitivity won't do anything to acceleration just disable it in both windows and the software. I have this mouse and I notice no delay to my movements at all and it's a steady speed across the board.

+MadPropzBaller They both have their drawbacks and benefits. If you want the added benefit of the 16400DPI and the look of the Utech, go with the Utech. If you like the better software and the look of the G600, go with the G600. Also, before anyone says "blah blah can't notice difference .... 16400.... blah blah" I use 16400 and yes I do notice a difference in accuracy :)

Zushikatetomoto Shift 6400 max dpi for the deathadder. I have one myself, I use 3500 dpi now. But for a while I was up to 4500,stopped using my computer for a week and it was just too sensitive. If you acclimate yourself to these high dpis they're not that hard to use. Took me a week to go from 800 dpi to 4500,gradually increasing the dpi when I became accustomed to the current dpi setting.

The Roccat SAVU is still my favorite Mouse: -Its Awesome looking -it does only have as many buttons as i really use -it has Nothing you dont use, no unnecessary things -it has a Achievement System in the Driver (things like: you scrolled 8000 Times) -it has Easyshift for double use any Button (7 Buttons (Right,left,2 Thumb Buttons and the wheel wich moves 3 ways) and 14 Funktions. -it has adjustable Makro settings &Presets - with its 50 Dollar Pricetag its not very cheap, but it has withstand-ed (?) 2 Years of extendended Use without any Problem :D

i don't hate the extra buttons cause when i play Aion with 5 skill bars * 12 keys=60 keys, the 12 extra keys are needed and helpful. its also helpful for single player games too cause you can put keybinds to it and everything is quicker and easier. why press favorites menu all the time in Skyrim when you can bind the keys on the mouse?
