If any are interested in a longer excerpt from Black Legion; ‘Are you Horus?’ His golden eyes glinted with amusement. He dragged in a slow breath through his rebreather. ‘I am Ezekyle Abaddon,’ he said through the medicae tank’s speakers. ‘That is not what I meant.’ I shook my head and gestured to him: this immense figure in the suspension tank, with slabs of muscle over muscle and a demigod-like stature that had led to this legend being whispered throughout the Nine Legions, a legend that would one day be whispered across the galaxy. ‘Are you Horus? Are you his clone? His… son?’ He laughed, the sound wet and tinny over the speakers. ‘What do you believe, Khayon? Do you think I am?’ I saw no reason to lie. ‘Yes.’ This delighted him. I was not sure why. ‘And if I were, brother - if I were merely Horus remade, recrafted, with a twist in my gene-code here and an alteration there, would it change anything?’ I had to think about that. I looked into his eyes but saw no answers there, only amusement. ‘Perhaps. Perhaps you have always been a genetic twin of your primarch. Or perhaps Ezekyle Abaddon was slain in his pilgrimage across the Eye, and you are one of Fabius’ creations in his place. How am I to know?’ This, too, delighted him. ‘So yet again we come back to trust, my brother.’ ‘So it seems.’ ‘Let me ask you this, Khayon. What does it matter? Clones, sons, fathers… Let the herd whisper whatever truths they choose. Our eyes are set on worthier goals. We look to the future, not the past.’ I acceded with a nod, knowing that there was no answer to be had here. Knowing, ultimately, that he was right. It did not matter ‘ At least, not if he was on our side.

My take is that Abaddon pre geneseed was a peak physical specimen whose genetic make-up took so well to the gene-seed that he became what he is today, a near clone. People in the comments NEED to stop saying "Abbadon beat Horus" He really didnt Horus fought 50 Astartes before Abbadon 3 of them were Legendary named Astartes (A Emperors Childten blademaster, second to only Lucius) A monster world eater And a Sorcerer of the Thousand sons whos only superior is AHRIMAN A daemon wolf the size of a large horse A Banished Dark Aeldari assasin who was banished from commorrough (Seriously, what thr HELL kind of atrocities do you have to commit to be exiled from the most terrifying place in the galaxy) Side note The named Astartes have all killed 10 Astartes each solo without breaking a sweat These guys are the top 3 Warlords of the Black Legion Think Evil Cato Sicarius level 25 Rubric marines had MULCHED Horus until he was almoat pure bone and his armor had been torn off He had fought a squad of Khornite marines He fought a squad of GESTARAN elite. He was absolutly obliterated before he fought Abbadon Abbadon didnt beat him in a fight

This is incredible comedic timing. I just finished majorkill's video on this being one of the worst fan theories only for me to see you upload a video about it in the EXACT SAME DAY.

Abaddon has yet to achieve even a fraction of what The Beast managed in but a few years… Horus would not be impressed.

Opening the great rift is far more impactful than anything The Beast did, lad

i think abaddon could easily have been an actual child from horus it would make sense in a way horus feels himself the closest to the emperor, so he might want to have his own children the same way the emperor has having abaddon being a middle point between primarch and normal human so startes or above lvl makes sense at least to some point

he is a clone even if he doesnt know it
@luckyflynt1646 Жыл бұрын
I am personally not super against this theory. It would explain why he is above other space marines. If he is a clone, he cannot be a perfect one, but that would still elevate him, right?

Anyone else think Abaddon is a very lame character? Held together by only Plot armor but not even in an interesting way.

Or maybe he is a son? A literal son with a mother somewhere. A mother not revealed for some time long after he was established? He's clearly not a clone.

No. The twenty Primarchs were created in a special project. Abaddon did not come into being in that manner.
@davidmathieson8661 Жыл бұрын
Has there been anything to say the Primarchs can't have children naturally? We know Astartes are unable, but that doesn't mean the Primarchs would have to be. I know Abaddon was supposed to be the son of a king...whom he killed, but what if he wasn't the King's biological son, adopted or through infidelity Abaddon could be Horus's actual son, then with the geneseed implantation he took to it better than any other because he was already genetically close to Horus
