I remember playing Rugby in one of the legacy A&F polos. Doubt they could do that nowadays. I liked it when they where an outdoors and athletic apparel company, not whatever is going on now.
@curtschannel42 ай бұрын
That is awesome - good to see you on here this video was on my feed. Yeah Abercrombie just threw Mike J's Masterpiece. I am not athletic at all - just know A&F was Crew Rugby etc... Extremely Creative Brand not just The Clothing. My dream job was an MIT ASM/Visual Merchandising Manager but Brand is really bad and woke extremely reformed & mainstream today - Apple didn't start using 90s computer parts after Steve, so Brand needs a lot of work right now. Mike never went the cheap route - Loved The Style And Clothing.

I would love if you could do Patagonia. Some people told me they make really good quality and long lasting clothes. But i think ther are kinda sus. I would really appreciate if a pro like you could give his opinion.
@tonytseng778017 күн бұрын
I've had many inconsistencies with their sizing across different products. I do wonder what impact Patagonia's relationship with workers and suppliers (and planet) has on their product and "quality." For example - what is lost when your focus becomes on recycled materials and giving fair wages (which they claim to be) and more importantly what is gained. They definitely don't subscribe to planned obsolescence and actively encourage consumers to not buy new.

Hi Really interesting video! As a recent Abercrombie fanatic, I really appreciate the deep dive and I'm glad to be more aware of their products. Some t shirt brands I own would love deeper dives on: - Uniqlo - Everlane - Velva Sheen - Bronson MFG - Quince

It's hard to justify buying clothes from mall brands anymore. Quality has gone down the drain, even my fav Uniqlo hasn't been the same lately. I've been just thrifting all my clothes and looking for the older Made in USA / Canada stuff.

Could be an issue of different factories. Most of these brands don't own their own factories and will use many factories to produce their garments. Sometimes you can see the difference between two shirts even if it's supposed to be the same item, same season. I have definitely had some cheap clothes last decades while others shrunk or fell apart within a few washes. And I take very good care of my clothes and am careful with how I wash or store them.
@curtschannel42 ай бұрын
Good video - it was on my feed as my life is Old Abercrombie pretty much - Brand is indeed very FF today. I don't like fashion no interest, but just The Brand. So many Iconic things Mike J. did the coloring with the clothing. Hate Abercrombie today - Everything needs Restored badly, We are not all other brands, but Our Own Brand Preppy And Preppyish. It is Mike J's Brand not any mob(s). Really got more & more frustrated going back to work there during new era as now really see why - very reformed and very mainstream with everything, liked the madtv Abercrombie skits as Brand needs to become that again ripped like flamboyant guys with their shirts off not smart & girls 'Babes', Iconic wrestling and crew posters all of guys on the wall. Great Brand (before - loved It too/really was Made for me). Om- Miss The Brand So Much, I mostly did/worked at Hollister as more my Style Preppyish And better fit, Preppy A&F more particular Loud Nightclub - great video breakdown ugh Miss Old Abercrombie with The Hot Guys with their shirts off.

Ex Fashion Designers there with Mike say how trash & atrocious the quality is now 'Primark found in charity shops,' We/The Brand have lost Our So-l Literally I absolutely hate it today, Mike was a Genius not just with Fashion stuff but every area and the people he gave jobs hated him smh, hate new Abercrombie.
